  [ Felicity ]

"I look for you on the map of New York city and other nearby areas,when I say I looked for you in the entire city means no single mart,club,streets or colleges are left where I didn't ask for you."Chase chuckles giving me a side glance while he drive to our unknown destination.

"Don't tell me your friend is a psycho stalker.I mean we only met for once okay sorry twice,he must have told you about our first meeting in a midnight dark alley."I munch on my white chocolate bar.I hope this time I can digest something.

"Nope actually,he never mentioned about you two meeting before the club night.Alexander is a man of few words."Chase replies.

"Hmmm its strange.You both seem to share a close bond."I can't think of more suitable reply.Chase is a nice person as far as I spend time with him,he talks politely and doesn't look as scary as Alexander.

"Your eyes how can be they are sea green.I mean I have never seen a combination before for a human."He asks and his question drops me uncomfortable.

How am I suppose to answer him?It's a rare combination for a human but I am not a mundane.

"I guess I am special child of God."I try to dodge the question with a smile.

"You're Felicity.I meant it."He slows down the speed of the car when we reach in a deserted area with less houses and more forest area.My heartbeats began to quicken again.

"Don't worry Felicity.I am not going to kill you in the middle of jungle.We have a farm house here,just a kilometer more.There are a lot of things you don't know about us and its better if Alexander tell you himself."He take a turn in the east ward.

The darkness,with no street lights and dense forests,sounds of wild animals coming from everywhere keep me stick close to him in fear.I have never been in a remote area before in my life.Although I lived in the mountainous region of Canada.We never go in the forests after sun set.

"The forests are well protected and the car,you are sitting in,is 100% safe."Chase noticed my discomfort so he decided to distract me by telling me more about the vegetation and wildlife which I listened very carefully.What if I have to escape later on.I must know about these scary bushes.

Finally a huge house built of woods and bricks came into view where search lights are rotating in every direction to catch a trespasser or animal.The gates are huge with sharp iron fences guarding it.

"We are here..."Chase informs.Guards laced with machine guns run to open the gates for us thus I get a glimpse of inner premise.The house has no garden but all concrete and more men marching too and fro with their bulky figure and weapons in their hands.

"How can I forget that you guys are gangsters?What blunder I create for myself when I decided to come along with you?"I groaned in frustration.

"I didn't force you to come with me Felicity and we are never going to hurt you nor let anyone touch a hair on your body."Chase replies in a offensive tone.

"Sorry if my words hurt you but what else should I feel?"I roam my eyes in every corner."This place looks like Marines' base camp but you're not one yourselves.I am an ordinary human with no arms to shield myself.Think from my point of view."I retort,perhaps my pregnancy hormones kick in.

"Its alright now lets get inside.My best friends is getting impatient by passing second and perhaps he would rip my head if I waste one more minute here talking to you."Chase says getting out of the car while a guard open my side of door for me.

"Good evening Ma'am."He bows his head in respect.

I nod my head in acknowledgement not having proper sentence to welcome his greetings.Chase comes to my side and gestures me to follow him inside.

"How do you know what Alexander is feeling right now because for last two hours,you have been with me and you didn't receive a text or call from anyone?"I narrowed my eyes at him  suspiciously.

"We are friends since we were only five and now we are thirty which means I know him in and out.You'd understand if you have a close friend."He shrugs his shoulders.

I remain silent knowing from where he is coming.I share the same connection with my best friends.They understand me even if I don't say a word to them.We walked in a huge living room.It has a classic look with vintage furnitures and candle stands on walls.It is dimly illuminated but warm.

"He is in his office.We should be heading there."Chase started climbing the spiral staircase.I follow behind him like a lost puppy.All my way,I observed the surroundings,the place is huge and dark but I am feeling a sense of comfort around me.Men guarding at every step thus my doubts grow hundred times more.

"He is going to be mad when he'll look ay you Felicity.For last one month,he is nothing but a crazy man,always drowned in your memories.What spell do you cast on him?"Chase tilts his head to look down upon me.

"I do not cast any spell.I am not a witch Chase."I sagged my shoulders.

"But you have something in you,a postive quality I mean."He adds,"He is now lively and more vocal than before and I am glad to see changes in him for more than a decade."He continues to unveil more about Alexander's life but in a corner of my heart,I want to discover him and his life on my own rather than a third person's given information.

We walked another set of corridors,the house is no less than a labyrinth.Finally we stop in front of a huge wooden door with beautiful Indian hand carving on it.It has door knobs in a shape of wolf's head.

Weird!

"He is insi-"Chase can't finish his sentence as the door is flung open revealing the man,who has been haunting my memories and whose seeds are growing inside me.

Alexander Blackwood.

His eyes lands on me and for the moment,I forget the world around us including presence of Chase.His grey eyes has the shades of aqua blue this time.Probably he wore lenses but it doesn't falter the fact that he is the owner of the most enchanting beautiful eyes in the mortal world.

"Mate."

His lips whisper in barely audible voice yet I manage to hear his honey smoothe tone.It sends an electrifying sensation in my cells.

"Mate you're finally here."He repeats again,his jaws clenched and relaxed while his pupils dilated with so many emotions I could count.

"I'll see you guys later."Chase's voice intruppted us but next second we were back on staring at each other.

"At least invite her inside the warm room Alex.Its fucking freezing outside.She is a normal human who feels hot and cold weather unlike us."Chase growls at Alexander whose eyes diverts on him.

"Just get lost for some time Chase.I need some time alone with her."Alexander's voice no more sounded tender and soft as he used with me,in fact its deadly scary.

They look at each other for a minute which finally broken by Chase,who silently nods his head to Alexander and pass a warm smile at me,"Don't worry about your friends Felicity.I have already send a message from your number to them stating you are okay and with Alexander.I hope you already told them about you and him."

"Yeah I don't hide anything from them but how do you do it?I mean I have my phone with me?"I ask him in confusion.

"Its a story to tell for later,now enjoy your reunion time,Good night."He says for the last time and disappeared in creepy dark corridor.

I again return my attention on Alexander,who is now standing closer to me than earlier.His intoxicating scent wrap around my head.I feel a sudden desire to melt in his arms,feel his warm hard body against mine like that night.

"I can't believe I am finally seeing you after a long fucking one month Felicity."He envelopes me into his arms,I instantly lean on his warm body,like I always belonged there,my right place next to his crazily beating heart.

"I don't believe myself."Though it came out barely as a whisper from my mouth,I hear him suck a breath.

"Now that I found you,I won't let you go away mate."He stroke my hairs.The simple gesture of affection erupted tingles on my skin.I feel special.I feel pampered.

Suddenly my stomach growled causing him to break our comforting hug,he looks at me with concern yet I can't miss a faint smile in the corner of his lips whereas my cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

"Lets feed you first."He pulls me more inside the room where fireplace already blazing with flames.Well I need it more than food right now to prevent my bones from freezing.

"Please sit.I'll order our food here.What do you prefer in wine?"He asks once I sit on one of the leather sofa near the fireplace when I notice him only wearing a cotton shirt.

In the fucking minus degree,he just worn a shirt!This man isn't made up of stone or metal!!

"Felicity are you okay?"A gentle touch on my shoulder brings me back in the present.I find him staring down at me with worry laced expressions.

"Umm yeah you asked me about my wine preference,sorry but I don't feel like to drink tonight so only a light meal will be fine but ensure there is no dairy product includes.I have a heavy brunch with lots of cheese seasoning and yes no fish."I tell him my refined food preference.

His creases relax,"The food will arrive here in short time."He smiles at me and speak to someone over the intercom.

"My cook will prepare a chicken broth for you if you insist on having a light meal,I am also not a fan of heavy suppers myself."He tells me while walking to a freezer in a corner and picks out a bottle of JD.

"You sure you don't want a shot?"He asks me again in which I shake my head negatively.

He walks back to me and sit close to me.I can feel his heat radiates or it just my wild imagination.Blame the shelves full of romance novels in my room.

"Can I ask you a question Alexander?"I incline my face to glance at him.

"Anything you wish my love."He takes a gulp from his bottle all this while,having his eyes whole time on me.

"Why do you call me mate?"

As soon as I finished,his pupils changed its color from sea green to grey again.His face turns stiff.

Am I in a deep trouble?
