Ariana’s pov~

The mysterious big boss was a five-foot man with anger issues, all he did was bark out instructions, he was a burly middle-aged Asian man.

“Boss” one of the guys started as he walked me quietly to his boss’s presence and sat Me on the chair facing him in his office.

“This woman, she’s a guest at the resort, she is loaded, and she offered to pay us off for the money Sunan misplaced” he said pointing at me and stepping away. 

The boss went quiet and looked at me intently before speaking

 “I Heard of your fun escapade in our small village, i wonder if there’s nothing left for me” he smiled As he looked at my legs and licked his lips.

“Look I don't want any trouble, none whatsoever, I offered to pay for young Sunan, I'd like to do that and be on my way, the person who invited me to this resort is not someone you want to mess around with” I replied calmly but he didn't like my calmness.

“You think that I'm scared? Who is he? Pablo Escobar?” He laughed “I don't care!” he added.

“Well Then let's have it, where is my money?” he demanded with an outstretched hand.

“It's not here, I was thrown in the van and brought here, I left my money in the car that brought me to the village” I responded,

“Why Did your man leave you all alone? He knows the village Is a dangerous place” the boss said, finally getting up and walking over to me.

“If you were mine I would never let you out of my sight” he started, he touched a lock of my hair and I quickly brushed off his hand.

“I have no interest in you, I suggest we handle the business and move on from each other,” I said.

The boss looked at me with intense annoyance, 

“Why? You don't think I can take care of you? Why because I'm a fisherman's son?” He asked

“Look I'm already married and my husband is a very evil man, I'm on this island because I'm trying to relax,” I told him, his annoyance deepened.

“You are so beautiful I'm ready to risk it all, let's forget about the money, spend the night with me instead and I'll make you happy tonight, everything you want, I will provide it” the Boss offered.

I started to panic anxiously as I kept fiddling with my hands “No, I don't want that” 

The boss didn't say anything at first, he looked like he had run out of words to say.

Soon his phone rang and one of the boys rushed to hand him the phone.

“Hello” he started as He fixed his eyes on me, then just as immediately his countenance changed at the voice he heard next.

“Sir!” he called out, 

“No sir, she was just brought in by my boys, she offered To pay for one of the little kids I own,” he said into the phone springing up from his seat.

Soon it seemed like he was done with the conversation.

“It seems you are spoken for” he started, “that was my boss and I've never heard him sound afraid until today” he said 

“I'm sorry for the inconvenience, I believe you should not have been involved” he smiled gesturing me to get up.

I wondered Why he suddenly changed his mind, who was that? And what was discussed?

An hour later I was safely returned to the resort Where Silvio stood waiting for me.

“I told you not to wander Off Ariana! The village is dangerous. I told you to stay close To Alina” he thundered.

I lowered my head, Silvio’s tone was very upset and I had no intention of filing my captor up.

He didn't say anything for a while, 

“Someone is here to see you,” He Said, from behind the door a woman emerged, she wore a hat and sunglasses, and as she took them off I already knew who it was.

“Fiona!” I exclaimed loudly, running to her and hugging her tightly.

“I'll leave you Both to catch up” He Said kissing my forehead and leaving us both in my room. “I hope you can join me tonight for dinner by the shore,” he added and smiled at me.

Fiona and I watched him leave before we resumed our girlish giggles.

“He brought you here?” I inquired, hugging her again.

“He asked if I could keep it a secret, everyone is looking for you back home, especially your husband, he has turned Italy upside down to search for you” Fiona divulged.

I didn't know what to make of this, I have no plans to go back to him anytime soon.

“Fiona you can't tell him Where I am, promise me” I made her swear to me before we continued our girly giggles.

We had so much to catch up on and I filled her in the fastest way I could.

“I'm sorry you had to go through all that,” she said, her face down turned into a scowl.

“I don't want to go back to Mateo, he is chaotic and he is too toxic for my child,” I said to her.

“I'm going to escape from here Fi, while Silvio is away, we would rendezvous somewhere and get on a plane out of Europe” I suggested.

“How! These are two powerful men fighting for you, literally killing each other for you, where would you run to that would ever be far enough Ariana!” she exclaimed.

She was right, something told me that these men aren't done with me and will find me to the Ends of the earth.

I just wanted to be away from Mateo no matter what it took.

“What about Silvio, is he anything like Mateo?” She inquired, sitting Me down on my soft bed.

“He has been the perfect gentleman, and I find that highly suspicious,” I said to her

“Ariana You can't keep running away from these men, you…”

“Ariana!” a voice called excitedly, I looked in the direction and I saw someone peering in from the open window.

I froze where I sat, this was the last person I ever expected to see again in my life.

“I thought that was you!” she exclaimed Again, my step-sister giggled, and finally turned to come inside the room.

How did she know it was me? How did she get here?

“Hi Serena,” I greeted in a low tone, Fiona rolled her eyes as she entered the room with us.

“Sis! You are on vacation? Everyone thinks you ran away with another Man!”
