CHAPTER SIXTY- Yellow

I check the time on my watch, it was still early in the morning but I had leave for work as soon as possible. Walking out of the closet, my eyes immediately lands on the sleeping figure of Yanna.

She snores lightly while cuddling with my pillow which makes a small smile to stretch on my lips. Her cotton top had ridden up, exposing her stomach slightly. I walk over to place a kiss on her head and on her exposed stomach before adjusting the covers.

She had been busy these days with the new project she had gotten. I mentally beat myself up for giving her a contract while she’s pregnant, I probably should have waited because I hate seeing her exhausted.

Work goes by with a few papers to sign, emails to check on and zoom meetings to take and by the afternoon, I’m done with what I need to do fir the day.

The intercom buzzes and I pick it up. “Mr Bernadi, There is someone here to see you with the name of Igor Ivanov” My secretary says.

“Send him in.”
