CHAPTER 43

(Continuation of the Flashback)

Claire's POV

"What do you think you are doing?!" The man in the middle of the pack shouted.

He looked like someone who had high authority in this place. He looked different from the others.

"We are only doing this because of an order," Kennedy answered then he put down the unconscious man and I felt that he was getting ready for a battle.

I don't think that is a good idea, because there are almost 20 of them and I don't think they are an easy opponent. I was getting nervous because of the way they looked at us. They looked like hungry wolves looking at their food.

" You chose the wrong place to do that. No one can touch my pack " The man said angrily.

"You must be the alpha of this pack," Kennedy said.

"Yes, I think you did your research before coming here. There are only a few humans who know our existence." The man called Alpha answered.

I wonder what an Alpha is.

He is getting ready to attack us his appearance is starting to change to a werewolf.
