CHAPTER 26
"NO! I'm not going to talk to you when you're this drunk, Rhyan!" Aubrey said with a shaky voice.
That night, when Rhyan raped her, he smells like alcohol. It means, he had been drinking alcohol that night, and thus, Aubrey couldn't help but tremble in fear as the same scent and the same voice asks her to come out of the bathroom.
"I've been so nice to you this whole time... WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME?" Rhyan said punching the door making his hand bleed.
Aubrey didn't say a word. She kept on trembling as she hugs her knees shaking in fear. Rhyan isn't that scary at this moment. He was hurting and angry, but Aubrey couldn't help thinking ahead of what might happen once she open's the door.

She forgot that they had spare keys in the room and Rhyan used the spare key to open the door. She did her best trying to prevent Rhyan from successfully opening the door.

TWO DAYS LATER, Rhyan was sitting in his study when the doorbell rang. His servant immediately went to see who it was and saw a package outside the gate. The maid had no idea what to do about the package so she went to inform Rhyan about the unknown package. "Sir, there's a package outside the gate... Nothing's written on the box, so I don't know who it is from and whom to give it to. What should I do about it?" The maid asked cautiously. Her name is Marin, Linda's friend. They started working on the same day and they're the same age so they get along pretty well. She was there when Linda was dragged outside but she's too powerless she couldn't help her at all. After witnessing what happened to Linda, Marin made sure to act as cautious as possible around Rhyan. She made sure to perform her job better even without any eyes watching. "Thank god we left the house earlier. Had we left a minute later we would have been caught." Shane said.They were riding her car with their things when they encountered four black vehicles heading to the house where they were staying. "You can count on me, I will help you to the best of my ability," Tyler said as he hugs Aubrey. Aubrey let herself cry in Tyler's arms. It has been so long since they've been this intimate with each other and Tyler utterly broke Aubrey five years ago but their connection with each other remains. Aubrey too has no idea why, but she feels safe in Tyler's embrace. Though she no longer hates him, she can't forgive him either. But still, with him by her side, she feels like she could loosen her guard down for a while and let herself free from all the accumulated pain weighing in her heart. "We found her!" Said the man with a black suit behind the tree with his phone on his ears. "Bring her to me," Rhyan said from the other line of the call. "Got it!" The man in a black suit answered and slowly walked out behind the tree. Tyler and Aubrey were utterly shocked to see a bulky man before them, not just one but there are three more behind him.

"No, no! This can't be real... Rhyan can't possibly locate them in that place so soon." Aubrey said as she looked at the picture with her trembling hands. "Does anyone else know they'll be staying there?" "N-No... Only the house owner, Shane's old acquaintance. But he does not know who we are, he only knows Shane so he can't be the one who's informed Rhyan about their location." "I think he does. Look!" Tyler said. He showed Aubrey trending news using his phone. Turns out Rhyan has let the public know about Aubrey's disappearance. In the news, he made it seem like Aubrey's been kidnapped and so were their children. And whoever could lead him to them will receive one million dollars. "I think everyone knows. Before the sun rises, Aubrey and Tyler heard the screeching sound of vehicles approaching. Tyler hurriedly went to the window to check, just in case, it’s another group of black-suited men sent by Rhyan. He wasn’t wrong about the guys from those vehicles wearing a black suit but those aren’t Rhyan’s men, it’s Kai’s and Kai is also one of them. There are two vans and both are filled with his men.
