"Alpha, I'm so sorry for causing commotion this early morning. I didn't know mom was going to take it up, if not I wouldn't have told her" Maria apologised with an innocent look.

"Why won't I take it up? What they did to you was outrightly wrong" Sheila blurts out.

Jeremy looks at her with a glare. He didn't want her to start another round of ranting.

"Mom, it's not that serious," Maria said and looked at Jeremy. "It's just that I was dropped at the middle of the road yesterday when we were returning from the Alphas meeting" she said like it meant nothing.
