Jeremy didn't know what to say to placate his unhappy assistant. He never knew she had passed through a lot of this. He felt like he knew all the men no matter their number and dealt with them mercilessly. Once he had caught, he had made them suffer but he was sure that he didn't even know one quarter of them. He really pitied the girl. He sure knew that her family wasn't so good to her. They had even collected his money with a smile without them thinking about their daughter. That was one of the reasons he had shielded the good thing shared in the pack from her family. He felt they were not worth it.
