CHAPTER 53 ELIASTEDDY'S P.O.VI laid in the bed staring off at the ceiling still not completely grasping what all happened. I was there. I felt the pain, I see my wound, I see my son. But none of it feels real. It was all so hard to believe.I knew Liam betrayed me, but I wasn't the only one. There was also Lilly, who still remained in the dungeons while I sit in this bed hurt by the fact that Liam wanted to take everything. Then there was Fenris, how can I deny the fact that he saved both me and our son? But if it weren’t for him rejecting me, this would have never happened.'You don't know that.' Gemma pipped up.'If he never rejected me... -""You wouldn’t have me, you wouldn’t be able to hear, and you wouldn’t have gotten the confidence you now have.''I wouldn’t have been put in a dungeon, I wouldn’t have been sliced open unmedicated and I wouldn’t have been on the verge of sacrificed while my child was offered to a demon lord.' 'They had been planning far too long. The rejecti
CHAPTER 54 HELENA, IS THAT YOU?TEDDY'S P.O.VI rubbed my eyes in fear I was seeing things."Helena, is that you?" I asked, as my voice broke, tears starting to fall down my face."It's me baby." She said as she rushed over to my side. Fenris stepping out of the way."But how?" I asked. Knowing my father wouldn't just let her leave, especially after not getting payment for my services with the contract. Her eyes cut over to Fenris before connecting back with my own. I had so many questions but right now, I just wanted a hug.I reached my arms up for her to come to me. Our bodies connecting in a tight embrace as I wept more. If it was one person, I needed the most right now, it was her. She had always been like a mom to me, the mom I never got the chance to have. Her being here right now means more than she knows. As much as I want to blame this all on Fenris, I know this wasn’t his fault. I chose to leave, I chose to try and move on with Liam, and I also chose to move to his pack. Fen
CHAPTER 55 TRUTH? TEDDY'S P.O.V I got my 15 minutes. After my time was up, Erin checked Elias's pressures and his body temperature. She then deemed him good and that he could be held an additional 15 minutes. Although I would love to not have to share him, I also knew that it was selfish of me. He had a father who has not left his side. Fenris has hovered and asked so many questions when anyone does anything with or to him. He was completely concerned for him, like a parent should be with their child. I knew it was only right that he also had to chance to hold our son. To feel that wonderful feeling of what it was like to hold him close. He removed his shirt so that he could also do skin to skin. The sight of his body sending delightful shivers down my body. I resented feeling those feelings, but I couldn't deny how sexy his body was. 'Momma likey.' Gemma purred in my head. 'Down girl, we just gave birth.' 'Doesn't mean my lady parts don't need some mclovin.' She said as she basically
CHAPTER 56 LET'S GO HOMEFENRIS'S P.O.VI already knew she was special. But seeing ghosts is a different form than even I could comprehend. She got into explaining everything along with how the Moon Goddess told her she would receive at least two gifts, as her mother did before her. She hadn't mentioned the depths of her wolf though. I felt kind of bad for knowing more about it than she did. Once she was done explaining how she had more gifts than even her mother, she then went onto telling what she was able to accomplish in a short amount of time. When she was done, her eyes shot up to me expecting me to be surprised."Why aren't you shocked?""Some of them did take me by surprise. I didn't know you could have more than two gifts and I definitely didn't know spiritual was one of them." I replied honestly."What do you mean by more than two gifts. How did you know I had any?""Well, I wasn't sure of it. Helena had just said you were destined to be a Tribal wolf like your mother and po
CHAPTER 57 RETURNING TO CHAOSFENRIS'S P.O.VOnce we made it to the van Uriah was there pacing back and forth."Please don't let him near me." Lilly begged. Which broke my heart in more ways than one."Lilly will need to be in the van transporting Teddy and Elias because they all need medical attention. The rest will break off into separate vans." I said as the pack gathered to load up."I want to ride with them." Uriah said."As do I. But what's best for them is Helena. Am I right Helena?" I said looking over at her."Right." Helena said getting into the van."But they need someone to protect them." Uriah tried reasoning. "Helena can do that." I said as I placed Lilly in the van."It's for the best Uriah." Teddy said placing her hand on his shoulder. "She has been his hostage for years where she was tortured by her first mate. If you want to win her, you must do what you don't want to do. Give her space, give her time. It's a lot for her right now." She said as she walked away also
CHAPTER 58 BATTLE TO THE DEATHFENRIS'S P.O.VGabriel's wolf charged without any hesitation. I guess the reason for them not being on their lands was that they were already heading to the Kingdom. Liam must have been very confident that he would get the job done for him to send all of his warriors to my Kingdom. I considered not killing them all, but at this point they are attacking because they believe in the cause. No matter which way the reasoning is swung, I as the King cannot allow the people who would do something like this to walk away with their life. At any point in battle, it was kill or be killed and I don't plan to die, not like this. Especially to these mutts. All I could see was red as Gabriel charged me. I wanted blood, and blood was what I was going to get.His wolf leaped through the air as King jumped to meet him halfway. Our bodies colliding, making us both fall on all fours. We circled one another before Gabriel made the first attack. I always waited for my opponen
CHAPTER 59 HONEY I'M HOMETEDDY'S P.O.VMy heart was pounding in my chest the entire time they were fighting. I knew I was concerned about Fenris, but I couldn’t let him think I cared, because I shouldn’t. When I knew he was safe it was like something washed over me, a sense of relief. However, my heart seemed to pound even harder when the van pulled into the driveway of the kingdom pack house. What were they all going to think? Did anyone even notice that I was even gone? Do they know that I was rejected? I had so many questions swirling in my head, but they all seemed to vanish the moment the bright smiled brown-haired girl appeared in the doorway."HONEY I'M HOME!" I screamed at her, still unsure how she will react, I never evens aid goodbye when I left.Without any hesitation she rushed to me, her arms flinging open as she pulled me in for a bear hug so tight that I could hardly breathe. When she let go of me, my eyes went straight to her throat where a soft pink scar now remained
CHAPTER 60 DREAMSTEDDY'S P.O.VI have been having dreams for a while now. I hadn't wanted to admit that what I was dreaming was coming to life but there was no denying it at this point. I have had 3 dreams that have all happened exactly how I had dreamt it. It terrified me because why was I seeing future things that have yet to happen? Was I somehow supposed to stop them from happening? How do I tell these dreams apart from the normal dreams? It was all becoming extremely overwhelming. I wasn't sure how to take this new gift, was it supposed to be something I was supposed to alter the outcome of? There were so many questions surrounding the issue. Instead of trying to figure it out, I chose to ignore it. At least until the last one I had.The last one was a wake-up call that I had to start doing something, anything with foresight. But unfortunately, there was nothing I could do to stop what Liam had done to me. I had dreamt it the night before. I was so sure it was just another bad d
