CHAPTER 41 SAFETY FIRST

TEDDY'S P.O.V

As much as I wanted to believe it was some joke, I couldn't take the chance. I wanted to take the next step with Liam, but I wasn't sure that the next step was to move in with him. We had only been seeing each other for 3 weeks, but the note left me with no other option. I couldn't risk the safety of my child, the safest place for me was at Liam's side. He would let no harm come to me or my unborn baby. I, of course, still had Tanner, and then two guards from Liam's pack. But this intruder managed to get into my room without any of them knowing. Tanner went wild trying to find out who it was. There was no trace of a scent left behind, nor did any security cameras catch anyone entering or exiting my room. Which made me more terrified.

I paced my room waiting for Liam to return my call when my phone started going off. I quickly answered without looking at the caller ID.

"Liam, thank god, something has happened." I said, but the other line was dead s
