Accompanied by some guards - of course- Roseline returned to the King's Chambers and when she had got in, she found him writing on his table.

Urgh! Does he ever get some rest??

"Good evening, My King" she greeted with a bow as she stopped walking.

"Roseline. Where have you been?" Lincoln asked without lifting his head to look at her. 

His hands were still moving freely on the scripts.

"I've been with Martha, My King" she said with a bow again.

Somehow, she couldn't tell why she heard some echoes of possession in his tone. 

Lincoln didn't say any other thing, and Roseline figured that was enough and went ahead to sit on the bed. 

Oh! She felt so uneasy. How would she be able to cope in the room with him huh?

She watched him from the corners of her eyes as he scribbled down in the scripts. Then fin
