"Why am I helping him?'

Derrick pondered when leaving Ben's room.

Derrick was a self aware man. He knew he wasn't a good guy but he tried to consciously make things a little comfortable for certain people among their slaves. After all, he was his father's son.

His capacity to be ruthless was no lesser than that of Rolph but what he had that Rolph lacked was the ability to hold back, see beyond the face of the victim.

When he told Rolph that he will kill Ben if Ben should try anything funny, he meant it a hundred percent. He will not blink while doing it and he will not regret it.

Many innocent people had died by his hands. He knew they were innocent but he was in no position to help them. He would have if he could yet when he took their lives, he didn't regret it.

He was just doing his job. It wasn't his fault luck was against them.

But Ben….

He was also the third son of the second most powerful family in Texas; The Robert's family. The day Asahi returned to Texas from his "ill fated trip" to San Antonio as he called it while narrating his narrow escape to his closest colleague ISABELLA, he met a 3 months rental deal waiting for him. His master had handed his ass over to the infamous Mr. Leo for 90 days. Three months of total submission to a man feared by all twinks for his brutal BDSM techniques. "The number of twinks killed by Mr.Leo during sex could compete with the population of a junior high school students, and that is the man master rented me out to?! They were hanging out almost everyday. If only he was a little bit patient...if...only…. he wasn't so jealous….maybe...just maybe...He entered the club and looked up at Rolph's annoying private lounge where they use to have sex while watching the night crawlers. He remembered every detail…... Rolph, backing him while kneeling on the wide three seater with his butthole shinny from the generously applied lube. While waiting for Derrick in the toilet, Asahi had switched off his phone but that was not enough. His tracker was still on. If only he knew which of the Chinese gods to pray to. Thankfully, Derrick joined him pretty soon and he started breathing again."Derrick, thank you. I know you will come through for me." He quaked, grabbing Derrick's hand and acting cute. "Why is my club not safe?" Derrick went straight to the point. "Aaah. About that…..Actually your club is the safest place in all of Texas. It's just that my master for the night asked me to leave but I am scared that he would change his mind soon so I want to go incognito throughout the night." Asahi laid his cards plain, his eyes begging Derrick to understand and ask no question." You know I can't help you right?." Derrick asked him. "Please. I just need to stay in a place where my tracker can get disabled just for the night. Derrick, please , you have to help

"He is Japanese. He should know." Derrick shrugged and went back to his phone. " Sorry I don't." Asahi smacked his lips loudly….."but I like it. Can I have some Derrick?"Derrick rolled his eyes and stood up. "Coming up." He said before leaving the lounge. "So Ben...is it Benjamin or Benson or….."" It's Just Ben." Ben answered, cutting him off, hardly able to hide the annoyance in his voice."Okay so can I sit beside you?"Before Ben could come up with a reply, Asahi was already thigh to thigh with him on the three-seater, smiling sweetly at him.Ben reflexively shifted into the armrest. "Some personal space please."" Oh! Sorry!" Asahi shifted a little, creating a very tiny gap between them. It wasn't enough for Ben but he wasn't one to be openly rude to a stranger. He would have even warmed up to this person if it was a woman. Gay men repulsed him and he was reacting accor

Ben woke up alone. When he checked the time, it was way into the afternoon and he needed a fix. Looking down, the club was pretty dark and some strip dancers were practicing on the stage. He watched them for sometime then remembered what woke him up……..He needed a fix. Looking around him, he found the table empty. The soup bowls, wine bottles and cups were gone. Why didn't they wake him? Not dwelling on the thought, Ben stood up and left the lounge. When he got to his crib, he quickly ordered for food because his drugs always come with the food. He doesn't even need the whole set of drugs. Just the coke.He went to the balcony and sat down. Ben loved the view. Texas city; The city that never dies. For Ben, Texas City was his future. While Derrick was cooling off and figuring out how to apologize for his insubordination, Rolph was trying to figure out how to break the ice.The first time Derrick got scared of Rolph was when he had killed that boy with his whip. Derrick was kowtowing to him for weeks. He wouldn't stop calling Rolph 'boss' since then. Rolph had begged, fought him and stopped talking to him just so he could drop the 'boss' tag, but Derrick stuck to it. It was later he got to know that Derrick was distancing himself from him because he had killed someone simply to please Jolanta. Derrick was insecure. They had a talk and he had promised that Derrick was family and he would never do that to him. That was why he wanted to let Ben go. If Derrick likes Ben, then He wouldn't be happy to see the boy suffer right? So why is he angry with me? Rolph pondered. "Over here!" One of the men shouted from atop a hill 4 hours later. He had found the panels. Rolph was righ

Back in Texas within an hour, Derrick went to see Ben and found him sleeping outside. Having seen the tray of food in the living room, he knew the boy was still not eating of his own volition and was going to scold him but when he got outside, Ben was crying in his sleep. He knew immediately that the boy was dreaming about a bad memory. Rolph had gone through the same. Sometimes he remembered the dream and sometimes, he didn't. Signing, Derrick stooped and gently shook Ben's shoulder until the boy opened his eyes."Maaa!" Ben whimpered expectantly when he saw Derrick. His eyes then cleared and he quickly sat up. He cleared his throat in embarrassment."Derrick. You are back."" Why is there a tray of food left untouched in there?" Derrick asked in an armless voice. He couldn't bring himself to scold the boy again."Errm...i was going to eat but slept off….i will go eat it now."Ben stood up."It's cold alr

The morning after, Ben was given a phone and was visited by Asahi. They made plans and went shopping that day. Because Asahi was a busy model, they didn't really spend much time together. A week later, when Ben started learning bartending, he invited Asahi at the end of the week to come taste his drinks. Since Ben was specifically being trained to serve Rolph, his training was focused on the kind of drinks Rolph loved. He was trained to make fifteen different drinks for Rolph ranging from Cosmopolitan, Zombie, Martinis, Caipirinha, Tom Collins to Margaritas and Pina Colada. But he was told that four of those were Rolph's favorites so he was repeatedly remaking  them in his free time. Now sure that he had the hang of it, he was ready to test his skills on Asahi and also used it as an excuse to get the pretty man into his crib for a much desired discussion. Ben got the kitchen to bring in a long table and borrowed a set of tools from the ba

In the wee hours of the morning, as Jan was Preparing to meet with the family's PR team to plan the press conference where they will announce that Rolph was no longer the future heir of the family, Adam's call came in. His voice boomed with anger and resentment. He demanded to know the reason for the darknet announcement. But after Jan's timid explanation, all Adam said was …"Make sure my son-in-law is back at the ranch unharmed by the time I arrive at midnight." He then disconnected the call. When Jan got to the desert, he met total chaos.  Dead bodies littered the ground and half of the den was a heap of blocks and dust. His men had Nikkie's surrounded. Two of Nikkie's men were holding up the still unconscious Derrick in-between themselves, while the rest guarded them with weapons drawn. The two teams were having a standoff waiting for who would fire first but this was only possible because Jan had called his men earlier and told them to cease fire. Jan gallantly strolled to stand beside Boris who was leading his men. He took his time to look Nikkie's men over and imprint their faces in his heart before smirking in a derisive way. " So you all are Jakub's men living right under my nose." He nodded his head in acceptance of the fact in front of him. Jan was brimming with anger and the restraints he placed on himself knowing that Jakub could blow up his ranch was evident in his voice and body language. He was trembling and had his p

Now after years of grooming the boy with everything he had, he was faced with turning the boy into a prey for his enemies to hunt down. By the time Rolph stepped into Jan's office, he found Jan standing by a window with a freshly lit cigar in his mouth. Rolph humbly walked over to Jan's desk and stood there with his head bowed, waiting for further instructions. "Sit down." Jan muttered. In fact, if Rolph's five senses, except for his down-turned eyes, weren't focused on Jan, he probably wouldn't have heard the order. It was as if Jan wasn't talking to him. This made him wonder if there were more troubling things to come. Whatever it was that had Jan so distracted could only be resolved by Jan. Even his own present issues were out of his hands. Rolph took one of the seats and waited. He didn't have to wait for long because Jan puffed a fog of smoke then returned to his seat where he opened his laptop and turned it to face Rolph. On the screen was an open letter from the leader of Robert's family. "They have contacted you?!" Rolph gasped."Read it." Jan replied.Rolph heaved and started reading. The first thing

The moment they stepped into the room, two men already on standby grabbed Derrick and dragged him to a set of heavy iron chains hanging down from the ceiling, just like the one Rolph had in his underground torture room back in Texas. Since Derrick was declared as Rolph's property, Rolph had stopped receiving his punishments. Derrick was the one receiving them in his stead. So when he was grabbed, Derrick and Rolph were not surprised and Derrick didn't put up a fight. Rolph rolled his eyes and faced Jan who had settled in his seat, smoking his cigar as he watched his men chain Derrick up. "How is what Jolanta does with Jennifer any of my business? I don't know where they are. Why are you putting this on me?" Rolph demanded with a straight face. Jan chuckled silently and glanced at Rolph before crushing out his cigar on an ashtray on the table beside his chair. "You have really overestimated yourself.
