You Need 'JUSTICE'

"Miss. Ellie, both you and Miss. Amelia has been accusing me of acting against you out of jealousy. Today let us make it clear.

"Can you start by telling us about your experiment theme? We both are already at the end stages so it should not be a problem right?" Abigail inquired.

She then turned her head towards Bill Carson and asked with a slight smile, "Dr. Carson it would not be wrong to summarize our experiment theme, would it be?"

To which he replied his consent with a nod.

"Now tell me, what is your theme for your experiment, Miss. Ellie?" She asked again as she faced her, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"Creating a new kind of fertilizer which could be used for all kinds of crops in any season." She said proudly. But the truth is this idea belonged to Rebecca.

Rebecca had been working on it from the day she joined the research center. She did many experiments to make it a success. But the results she obtained, none matched her expectations

She had noted all her observations and procedures in a detailed manner on paper and digital means. She even made PowerPoint slides for her benefit.

But one day she lost one of her USBs and one of her observation books which she used to store her data and obtained results. She blamed herself for being careless. And since it only contained a small part of her research she didn't care to search for it as she was confident in recovering it through further experimentation.

At this moment when she heard Ellie's project theme, she stood shocked in her position. Not only Rebecca but everyone else too who was aware of what Rebecca is working at. Her eyes widened in realization. She stared at Ellie's cunning smile and felt utter disgust towards her.

It all made sense to her now as to why Ellie kept asking each and every detail when she experimented with something new every time. She felt anger course through her but more than anything she felt helpless. She understood how things worked here.

For now, she should support Abigail not because she was angry at Ellie but because she wanted to stand up for herself and for Abigail too. Rebecca is the kind of person who never takes sides with anyone in a faceoff between two others, but now this also involved her. She couldn't stay neutral any longer.

She then remembered something at that moment. Abigail sometimes came to her to invite her to have lunch. And so Abigail and Rebecca would usually have their lunch together. They would even hang out together. But whenever they met they never talked about their work. She could now genuinely see the stark difference between the fake Ellie and good-natured Abigail.

"My theme is to make seeds that can give a large number of crops without using fertilizers. For this kind of theme, I don't think I need sulphuric acid which is also known as the 'king of acids''. Abigail said with a mocking tone, indicating the biggest flaw in Ellie's plan.

Everyone is shocked when they heard Abigail's theme. It is beyond their thoughts. They never imagined her working on such a marvelous idea. If it worked she can make huge money. Her project can make another green Revolution in the world.

And when they heard the last part. They felt it is right. Why would she require acids when she is trying to make seeds? She said she wants to make them without it. This means her study will be into more basic chemicals like calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, etc.,

There is no need for acids in her experiment. And something that could potentially explode, definitely not.

At that time Rebecca suddenly said, " Dr.Carson,  Abigail indeed was here earlier."

Ellie and Amelia heaved a sigh of relief when they felt Rebecca is their savior. But her next words made their mouths hang open.

"She indeed came before the explosion. But she didn't go to Miss. Ellie's table. She came to my table" Rebecca continued.

Everyone who stood there had questioning looks on their faces.

"She came to my table to invite me to have lunch. At that time I remember Miss. Amelia came to Miss. Ellie's table. I asked her why she is there when Miss. Ellie is absent. She answered that she needed something so she came to take it. Abigail left after I agreed. But Miss. Amelia stayed there for a few minutes and left. And few moments after the explosion happened"  Rebecca said.

"But actually more than an hour had passed at that time when Miss. Ellie went to get the chemical she needed. But she came only the second the explosion happened, almost as if she knew it would happen at that time. " Rebecca finished.

Now everyone stared at them suspiciously. Now it was plain and simple to see what the actual series of events occurred.

" You Bit*h don't you dare to blame us. You are framing us. Who doesn't know you and Abigail are friends? You are telling all this to save her" Amelia shouted at her. She didn't even notice what kind of language she is using.

"Miss. Amelia, why are you shouting like that? Please mind your language?" Rebecca said

"Miss. Amelia, let's check CC TV footage," Abigail said.

"No!!" Both Amelia and Ellie shouted together.

Abigail gave a smirk to them.

"Miss. Ellie, you need 'justice'. If I didn't do it. There may be others who might have done it. If we don't find the culprit they might act against you once more. And the kind of person who planned the explosion is certainly evil. Since it is only a small incident this time it is fine now. But as Dr.Carson said, what if people had been injured, who would shoulder the responsibility then?" Abigail said. She turned towards Dr. Bill Carson.

" Dr. Carson let's check camera footage. If you found me making the explosion then I will leave this place by myself," she said affirmatively.
