Chapter 3

**SEBASTIAN'S POV

I am Sebastian Morgan. I've lived for many years as a mythical vampire in the small city of viles. I have black hair, pale skin, and dark eyeballs until I've gotten into something serious before my eyes turn red. I evolved behind the Appalachian Mountain and found my life so boring.

More of my kind exist in the countryside but, I never met any.

I think I'm more of a vampire than any other creature because I've got their speed, teeth, fangs, and red eyes. What differentiates us is that I was not born or turned, I'm good with sunlight and I could stay long without thirst for blood.

I love getting involved with human businesses because they at least changed my boring life. A human even led me to meet the most exciting thing ever in my life, and that thing is.... Romance novels. I accidentally got it from a boy one day and now am obsessed with them. I enjoy reading them, especially the ones authorized by Jenny Alfred. I always wish to get the kinds of love she portrays in her novels.

I fell in love with her books and now I really want to meet her.

I do prey on bad guys if I ever wanted blood and after that, I compel them to forget that they ever saw me. The power of compulsion saves my identity for real.

I've got no problems if they get back home seeing bruises and two punchers on their skin. Well, it was always their neck.

Alas! it is what they get from being too dreadful in the city.

I was walking down the streets road at midnight, not really searching for prey but... Getting some air because I was not certain that a human could come out by then. My human friend Alex, I never told him anything about me being a vampire. he was already sleeping as I ran out of my previous novels. so, I went out to get some strolls.

Suddenly, I heard a scream "Move your feet" the sound of the voice was like... Combining different tones and I knew it wasn't just from an ordinary human. I took a deep breath and caught the smell of humans. I took another smell but could not figure out what the second scent was. So I moved toward the direction of the voice and I paused after I saw her black hair turn to white. I got caught in her green glowing eyeballs and so, I didn't realize earlier that she was naked. Also, there were humans around her.

"were they trying to rape her..?" I asked myself, still waiting to see what next will happen.

Then I saw the helpless lady trying to reach a coat from the floor. The terrified humans tried to flee after that incident but I couldn't allow them to remember that. The whole community would get startled if they disperse this. They are already full of my existence and I can't allow them to know more about mythical creatures.

So, I compelled them to forget it after taking some of their blood for refreshment.

"Is she also a mythical one..?" I thought to myself, walking towards her.

"She must be one" I gave myself the answer. Although, I was not sure.

"For how long has she been here..? I continued to question myself before I came back to my right sense."She should be the one to answer these questions. Not me" I concluded as I finally got to her.

She was too harassed. I wouldn't want her to remember this either. so, I compelled her to sleep and forget what happened to her.

She was resting on the walls before I got her, she must also be exhausted.

She slept in my arms without hesitation. She couldn't help it though, it was the power of compulsion.

I lift her up and moved her to my home.

Alex was still snoring on his bed when I moved the sleeping lady to my room. I couldn't let her sleep in her dirty coat and I couldn't ask a sleeping lady a question either.

I moved her to the bathroom and tried to take the coat off her. I couldn't take it off as she was still embracing it firmly.

I dragged it with her for some seconds and... slowly she soon let it go." A sleeping soul still possesses this strength..? " I asked myself, then I glared at the young lady. I couldn't help but... stare at her for minutes because she was so... beautiful. I soon twist my face immediately and washed her up hurriedly after I thought of my crush.

I changed her dirty coat after cleaning her up. "Hmm, I hope I don't regret this" I sigh and said to myself. "Well... She was naked in the first place" I concluded.

I moved her back to my room and laid her on my bed. I didn't have any lady dress to put her on, so.... I clothed her on one of my coats. I easily put the cloth on her, but It took some time before I could wear the trouser for her, since I was looking away so that my eyes won't get to the main spot. After dressing her up, I laid down on the other side of the bed, maintaining some space. I thought that it was not right to sleep on the same bed like that after having a crush on someone else, so... I stood up and sat at the edge of the bed.

I was thinking about my crush again, and I already made up my mind to trace her tomorrow." How long would I keep this mythical creature with me...? Well, I would send her out tomorrow morning." both positive and negative thoughts flowed in my head." What am I even saying?.. I said banging my head. Then I hit my face on my bed till I don't know when I fall asleep
