The misty dawn and rustling of the brisk current against the window frame woke Margarita from her profound dormancy. She batted her eyes before altering her cornea with the dawn daybreaks. The sunrise was analogous, but the thing was unusual, and by the second she caught the discrepancy, her views enlarged, and she amused, merely to find out she was not on the couch but in her bedroom. A warm duvet covered her frame while her mind recalled the glimmers of last night. Did she see a dream where he showed up, or did he actually come? She clutched and drew the duvet away. Her teal-gray dress was crinkled, briefing her: don’t mistake Samson’s presence as a dream. He was there last night, but how did she land in her bed? Is he outside? The thought struck, and she perilously hopped out to confirm the living room. But Samson was not there. The bouquet ensured things happened yesterday. He came, slept, and left.
