ADELE~

I woke up in the middle of the night but didn’t find Decker next to me. The last thing I remember was I left him in the theater room. But why am I still alone in my bed? Where is he?

Is he in that room again? My heart cringed, and I jumped out of my bed. I walked over and saw the glass door was open.

He was sleeping on the lounge chair, where the whiskey spilled on the floor. Is there something bothering you, Decker? What’s there in that room that made you stand there?

Because I know something was bothering you.

I settled on the chair, looking toward him as the moonlight showcased his face perfectly. I wished peace for his troubled heart, but what about mine? How could I help him when he doesn’t want to share anything with me? You wanted me to trust you, but how can I?

I went inside, grabbed a blanket, and settled next to him.

“I wish...” I will be lying if I say I was not upset

The morning comes, and this time I found myself on my bed. Wait, I was out with Decker, then

“Activate our man; if something happens to her. I will burn everything down,” Decker ruffed.A tease to lose Adele encapsulated his heart. These words echoed in the mansion and were merely a glimpse of outrage. He was all set to burn this world, but wished no single flame would touch Adele. She had been untraceable for the last eight hours, and he didn’t know where to find her. Several attempts failed, as Adele’s number was not reachable. His chest pulsated with wrath; deep down, his heart was scared for Adele. The serpent of anxiety spilled its venom. She was an innocent girl, and what if any of his enemies kidnapped her? Or is there any probability she left him because he didn’t tell her the truth? He clutched the table as Vincent entered with a package.“What? Did you find anything?” he asked.“There is a package,”He grabbed the packet and ripped it open. There was a flash drive with a note.We need one million dollars. Otherwise..., you can see what we have done to your wife. V

“Not more, Decker,” she resisted. He kept the last piece of apple in her mouth.“Don’t show me your puppy eyes; you know I am controlled by them,” he smiled. She bit his finger. He hissed through his eyes but never let his twirled lips come down. The hurt given by teeth, smoothed by her warm lips when she sucks the same finger the next moment. His caring gaze hooded with lust, looking at her luscious lips, sucking the tip of the finger. She pulled back with the effect of taming the sleeping beast.“Finish the last bite,” his hand clutching her jaw gently, caressing her lips like he played all the dirty thoughts her mouth could do to him.“Finish it for me,” he touched the bridge of her nose. She bit her lower lip and blinked at those innocent peers, waiting for his next instruction.“Let’s get you out of here,” he whispered. She tried to stand by herself, but Decker picked her up in bridal style.“Don’t hustle, my love. I will not let you do anything except...”The nurse entered. “The

The glistering of heavy rain on the car windows told Decker he needed to get back home to get the peace in the arms of his eternal love.He was quiet all the way, trying to concord with the demons inside him. Does that necessary to kill her brother? Can’t he show mercy for just one time in his life? The saint swayed through his chest, trying to scream to his ears to repent and return to humanity, but then he summoned his demons to kill that good part. How could one go to the lion’s den expecting mercy? Isn’t it all about its terror, and doing one thing right would not make him a good man, so let the good rest in peace because his peace is the darkness that consumes him, and there is only one anchor to it, ADELE?He had done lots of work in his past life, and adding one more to his list will change nothing. Adele’s brother was merely a pawn, a pawn to get rid of from her life, and somehow he felt satisfied he didn’t need to share her love with anyone. She entirely belongs to him, and th

It’s been more than a week. Adele’s smile vanished from her face. Every person in her family suffered a painful death, whether it was her father or siblings.Thinking about her sister, she knew she was dead, but the police never discovered her body.Pulling her knees towards her chest, she rested her head in between them; the only hope for her to live this life was her husband Decker, who was not ready to give up on her.But at the same time, she knew little about him.He spent most of the time with her to make her feel happy and to help her find hope in these dark days of her life. She wanted to visit her home, to feel the warmth of her bygone days. Without Decker’s permission, she drove towards her house.Everything was normal; looking at her house, where there used to be light in the evening, it was covered with darkness.Tears filled her eyes; she opened the door with her jingling keys as the creek sound made the door meet her ears. There was dead silence, and she could only hear a

~ADELE~I was beyond shocked. I didn’t know why I was mistaken, thinking for once in my life that I would be better than before. It was hard for me to leave my past life and enter a new life with a stranger.Till now, whatever I know about Decker, it was enough for me to trust him, but today everything seemed to be an apparition. My life became an illusion, where I knew nothing about reality. He was not Decker; he was someone else. His eyes became red, and he didn’t think once before he slapped me.Or should I say he was the real Decker?I could only see the fetish; the anger shot through his eyes when I spilled those words. I felt a stinging pain in my face because of the words. The turmoil inside me didn’t stop. All the things came back one by one. Why did he call me his redemption? I was sure he did something terrible in his life that he couldn’t forgive himself, and now he wants forgiveness from me.But why?Why and how am I connected with his past? They lost me in my thoughts when

An unexpected adventure waiting for me surprised me.The last night incident was not over my head when I was a bombshell with another one. When I saw Decker at the breakfast table, he was calm as the sea as nothing happened yesterday except our delightful chat under Wisteria flowers. I wanted to check on him, but it seems he is the man with the recovering power of a wolf.“Good morning, Flower,” he gathered his eyes on my face, looking intently towards him.“Good morning. How are you feeling now?” My eyes roamed the visible parts of his body.“I am feeling wonderful. How about you tell me, are you ready for another surprise?”I fluttered my eyes towards him as I stopped stirring my cereal bowl.“Another surprise?”Maria sent me a shimmy smile with her wrinkled face and wanted me to answer with a YES.“Your wish, my command, my flower. The sky, painted with vermillion color, hinted with a lavender stroke mirrored my eyes. Holding my man’s hand, I felt like I was living someone’s life.I could see the people stabbing the tent on the sand beside the beach, enjoying the evening with the music played by sea instruments. MATURE CONTENT The morning spread through the open space, and the cool breeze and sea waves of sound woke me up. I fluttered my eyes and saw Decker sleeping next to me with a peaceful smile on his face. “Good morning, handsome,” I whispered. He whined as he tried to pull me close. “Not now; I want to sleep more.” I smiled as a naughty thought crossed my mind. I got up from the bed, and went straight for the shower. Slowly, I took off my silky lingerie from my skin and opened my long hair. The hair cascaded down to perfectly cover the curves that I enjoyed myself. Through the corner of my eyes, I saw Decker watching me, taking a hot shower bath in these glass walls. I ignored him, rubbing my curves, cupping them hard. I massaged my body with a little shower gel; it was relaxing. Decker jumped from the bed and sped towards the glass door. I immediately closed the shower and wrapped myself in a thick, fluffy bathrobe. “Do you need something?” I pressed my lips together, sto

Margarita looked out at the moon, standing next to the fountain. The breeze played with her long curls, emphasizing the coldness. She was not expecting her dad to reveal the situation like this. She heard the footsteps approaching in her direction, and she was not willing to talk to anyone right now. She rushed towards the garden, thinking she could hide. “Margarita,” a voice brushed in her ears, and the goosebumps started to crawl out from her skin. She didn’t turn because she knew she would look weak and vulnerable in front of Samson. Margarita’s fingers tightened around the edge of her dress, her knuckles turning white. She could sense Samson’s presence behind her, the weight of his gaze, the unspoken words that hung in the air between them. But she remained committed, determined to protect herself from the pain that had once shattered her world. “I know... I have never missed an opportunity to hurt you, but we both know how much...” Samson whispered close to her ear; she turned

Three of them went inside. Samson could feel the resilience aura coming his way from Mateo. His presence might have been accepted by the Italian don but by the brother of Margarita Costello. The room was filled with a tense silence as Decker’s sharp gaze fell on Samson, his expression unreadable. Mateo stood by, observing the interaction between the two men.“Samson,” Decker’s voice was steady, his tone devoid of any warmth.“How are you now?”“I am... better,” Decker gestured toward a chair, indicating for Samson to sit. As they settled around a table, the atmosphere was thick with anticipation.“Mateo, could you please call everyone? Our friend here came to have dinner with us,” Decker instructed, his eyes never leaving Samson.Mateo nodded and left the room, leaving Samson and Decker alone for a moment. The silence was tangible, and Samson could feel the weight of Decker’s scrutiny on him.The silence filled with the click of glass when Decker poured whiskey into two glasses and dr

Master’s cold eyes flickered with intense emotion. He leaned back in his chair, his fingers interlaced, and recounted his side of the story.“It all started when you shot Elijah, leaving him to die.” That sight was still crisp in Master’s mind, watching his son bathed in his own blood pool.Master’s voice was low and filled with bitterness. He paused for a moment, his gaze distant as he relived the memories of that fateful day. “Elijah’s condition only fueled my rage further. He was left paralyzed, and I couldn’t bear to see my son suffer like that.”“The pain of watching our son consumed my wife, and she chose to die by taking her life. I lost everything that day, and the pain consumed me because of you.” Master’s eyes didn’t flicker from Decker’s face.“I wanted revenge, and I wanted Decker to suffer as I had suffered. So, I searched for the worst criminals, those who would carry out my bidding without question. That’s when I found Vasco Ivankov and helped him establish the Spanish

In a quiet corner of the room, Adele and Elijah sat closely together. Both of them were old, and time had carved its marks on their faces, but their eyes held the same warmth and love that had bound them together for decades. Adele looked at Elijah with concern, her heart aching for the man she once loved deeply.“You look beautiful,” Elijah stammered.Adele smiled thinly and shook her head, withering away the worries about what was happening outside.“Is this because of the bullet in your spine?” Adele asked gently, her voice barely above a whisper.Elijah nodded slowly, his lips twisted in pain as he struggled to speak. “Yes,” he uttered. “I got punished for what I did.”Tears welled up in Adele’s eyes as she reached out and cupped Elijah’s hand in her own. “No, Elijah,” she said, her voice filled with emotion. “You didn’t deserve this. You were caught in the crossfire, and it was never your fault.”Elijah drooled, and Adele picked to wipe his face.“Is he handsome enough?” He chuck

The thick scarlet liquid dripped from the on the wooden floor, slithering down at the Master’s shoe. He finished, placed his cigar back on the ashtray, and looked sideways to see the lifeless body of Capo on his patio. His face twisted in disgust and anger. He looked at the man who had once been his friend, his ally, but was now nothing more than a hindrance to his plans. “Your blood stains my patio, making it dirty,” he muttered, his voice cold and devoid of any remorse.“I thought your son was better than you, but these Costello bitches always win the men with their charm,” he greeted, his teeth watching over Elijah as he made his way to the patio.“Don’t look at me like this,” Master rolled his eyes, watching Elijah’s judgemental eyes.Capo’s phone started to buzz on the coffee table, displaying the name “Samson” on the screen, but Master didn’t bother to pick up. The room was shrouded in darkness, the heavy curtains drawn tightly shut, blocking any sliver of light from the outside world. The only source of illumination was a single dim lamp perched on the edge of the heavy wooden desk. Its soft glow created dancing shadows on the walls, adding to the eerie atmosphere of the room.Capo sat there, a solitary figure amidst the darkness, his face partially concealed by the shadows. The lamp cast a faint light on his troubled expression, revealing the lines of sorrow etched on his face. His eyes, filled with a mixture of grief and determination, remained fixed on a picture of his beloved son, Aslan, which lay on the desk before him, his handsome face smiling back at him, and tears welled up in his eyes.“I’m so sorry, my boy,” Capo whispered, his voice choked with emotion. “I never got the chance to tell you the truth. I wanted to explain why I punished your mother. Why I had to make the choices I did.”His mind drifted back to the painful memories

The morning sun gently streamed through the curtains, waking Sarah from her restless slumber. As she opened her eyes, she saw Margi sitting beside her, her face filled with concern.“Hey,” Margi said softly, “How are you feeling?”Sarah mustered a weak smile. “Better, I guess. Thanks for taking care of me.”Margi nodded, her heart heavy with the weight of everything that had transpired. “Of course, Sarah. None of us could have foreseen any of this.”Sarah’s voice quivered as she spoke, “Will you ever be able to forgive Dominic?”Margi looked at her friend, unsure if she could ever find it in her heart to forgive the man who had caused her so much pain. “I... Margi looked down at her trembling hands, her dress stained with blood and dirt. One part of her heart was relieved. Sarah is safe and under the doctor’s observation.
