Lyrien eyes flashing red as he coughed out the wolvesbane's poison. Aria's face contorted in worry, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Lyrien, no! Oh, please...".
Lyrien's gaze locked onto hers, his voice was weak but still reassuring. "Aria, I'm...I'm okay. Are you alright?", he still sounded worried for Aria.
Aria's expression turned incredulous. "Me? You're the one who's...who's dying! How can you ask if I'm okay?"
Lyrien's chuckle was faint, but it still held a hint of his usual arrogance. "Have you forgotten who I am, Aria? My power surpasses even the Alpha's. A mere wolvesbane can't affect my inner wolf."
Aria's lips curled into a small smile, despite her tears. "You're still proud, even now."
Lyrien's gaze softened. "Is the chain draining your energy again?"
Aria nodded, with her voice which is barely above a whisper. "Your lost consciousness drained my life away more than the Seven Tower Chain ever could."
With newfound determination, Lyrien tried to rise, his movements were shaky. "I'm back now. I'll break the chain once more."
As he reached for the metal bonds, his eyes transformed, the irises shifting from human-like to wolf-like, but retaining their piercing red color. The vertical pupils seemed to gleam with an inner fire, as if the wolf within him was stirring.
However, as Lyrien's fingers made contact with the chain,he felt a strong restriction from the chain, he realized it wouldn't be easy to break. The metal seemed to have adapted, its structure reinforced to withstand even his incredible strength. Lyrien's eyes was narrowed, his jaw clenched in concentration. He could feel the chain's dark magic resisting him, refusing to yield.
Sweat beaded on his forehead as he strained against the chain, his wolf's power surging through him. The metal creaked, groaned, but refused to break. Lyrien's eyes flashed with anger, his voice a low growl. "This won't hold me. I will shatter you, chain. Again."
Lyrien's groans grew louder, his muscles straining as he attempted to shatter the chain. But despite his efforts, the metal refused to yield. Instead, a dark energy pulsed from the chain, pushing him away. Lyrien stumbled back, his eyes wide with surprise.
Aria's voice trembled as she called out his name. "Lyrien! Oh, Lyrien, are you okay?"
Lyrien's gaze locked onto hers, his chest heaving. "I...I don't understand. Why is it so hard to break?"
Aria's brow furrowed, concern etched on her face. "Maybe it's because of the wolvesbane. Maybe your powers haven't fully returned."
Lyrien's expression turned incredulous. "Impossible. I've never been restricted like this before. I've always broken free, no matter the chain or curse."
Aria's voice was soft, cautious. "But you've never been poisoned with wolvesbane before, either. Maybe it's affecting you more than you think."
Lyrien's jaw were clenched in fury, he was so determined. "I'll try again. I won't be held back by the dark power of this chain or the wolvesbane's poison."
Lyrien launched himself at the chain again with a fierce cry, his fingers closing around the metal like a vice. The dark energy surged once more, but Lyrien refused to yield. His eyes were blazing red, his wolf's power straining against the chain's magic.
The air was heavy with tension as Lyrien struggled, his muscles trembling with effort. Aria watched, her heart in her throat, as Lyrien fought to break free. But the chain seemed to be absorbing his strength,it was growing stronger with each passing moment.
Just as Lyrien was struggling to break free the chain, a commotion outside the cell caught their attention. The sound of footsteps echoed through the corridor,it was growing louder with each passing moment. Aria's eyes darted towards the door, her heart racing with anticipation.
Suddenly, Alpha Edgard's voice boomed from outside the cell, his tone was firm and authoritative. "Alpha Erin, you will not be allowed to step inside the gates of Seven Tower. Each family has its own legacy, and Seven Tower is the safe house for the pack's treasures. We won't allow anyone to just enter."
Erin's voice was calm, yet firm. "I'm not here for the family treasure, Edgard. I'm here for the witch inside and the criminal of my pack, Lyrien."
Lord Edgard's response was unwavering. " with due respect, I won't allow your entrance, Erin. The prisoners of the pack belong to the pack, and it's our responsibility to make the judgment."
Erin's voice took on a hint of challenge. "Who made those rules, Edgard?"
"Of course, it was my pack," Erin replied, his tone dripping with condescension. "And I am now the overall leader. No one should go against my rules."
Aria's eyes met Lyrien's, a spark of defiance igniting within them. Lyrien's gaze seemed to say, "Don't worry, I'll get us out of here." But Aria knew the odds were against them.
Aria's voice was laced with worry as she whispered to Lyrien, "Please, Lyrien, leave. I believe my father will never hand me over to Erin, and I can protect myself. But if Erin finds you here, you'll be in danger because of me."
Lyrien's expression was resolute. "I'm not leaving, Aria. And if I do, i'm not leaving you behind''
Aria's eyes pleaded with him, but Lyrien's mind was made up.
Just then, Erin's voice echoed outside the cell once more. "Secure the area! Since the pack is not obeying my orders, I'll forcefully take out the witch!"
The sound of footsteps and shouting grew louder as Erin's men charged forward. Lord Edgard's voice boomed in response, "Secure the area! Protect the pack's treasures and the Aria at all costs!"
The cell door creaked open, and Lord Edgard's men poured in, forming a barrier between Aria and the incoming threat. Lyrien's eyes flashed red, his wolf ready to defend his mate.
Aria's heart raced as the situation spiralled out of control. She knew she had to act fast to prevent bloodshed. But what could she do against the combined forces of Erin's men, the powerful and cruel Alpha and her father's pack?
Aria's voice suddenly cut through the air, it shattered the tense silence. "Everybody should stop!" she exclaimed, her words was hanging in the air like a challenge. The room fell silent, all eyes fixed on her in awe. With a resolute gaze, Aria continued, "There shouldn't be a war because of me. I'm willing to surrender myself." The statement sent shockwaves through the assembly.Lord Edgard, her father, stepped forward, his face was etched with concern. "Aria, what are you doing? This is madness!"Lyrien, his eyes was blazing with fury, he unsheathed his claws. "No one takes her without going through me first!" he growled, his voice low and menacing.Despite the chains which were binding her, Aria stood tall, her eyes still locked on Lyrien. Tears streamed down on her face as she spoke, her voice were trembling. "I'm sorry, Lyrien. I never meant to be a burden to you. I'm been greedy because I've never felt love like this before. In death, I'll never forget our love."Lyrien's expre
As they sped towards the burstling city of Beachon, Lyrien's face were contorted in pain. He coughed out in pain, and Aria's eyes suddenly widened in horror as he lifted his hand up, revealing a crimson stain spreading across his shirt."Blood!" Aria screamed out, with her voice piercing the night air. " Oh my god, Lyrien, when did you get shot? Why didn't you tell me?"Lyrien's eyes clenched , his face was pale. "I...I didn't want to worry you," he gasped.Aria's gaze locked onto the driver at the front. "Faster! Please, you have to hurry! He's been shot, we need to get him to a hospital, now!"The driver's eyes flicked to the rearview mirror, his expression grim. "Hold on there my Alpha, I'll get you there as fast as I can."Aria's voice rose to a frantic pitch. "Faster! Please, don't do this to me! please Lyrien, stay with me, please!"Lyrien's eyes fluttered, his voice barely audible. "Aria...I'm sorry..."Aria's screams fill in the car, her world was unraveling as she begged the
The darkness suddenly closed in around Lyrien again, it was ike a suffocating shroud. He stumbled as his world spinning out of control. When his vision became cleared, he found himself in a twisted and nightmarish realm. The air were reeked of decay and death. there was a twisted, ancient trees which loomed above, with their branches like a skeletal fingers wreaching for the sky.Suddenly, an old woman emerged from the shadows, her gnarled stick thumping against the ground. Lyrien tried to speak but couldn't, as his voice was caught in his throat. The woman's eyes glowed with an otherworldly light as she turned to face him."Witch!" Lyrien spat, his heart was racing. He unsheathed his claws suddenly, ready to defend himself. But the old woman merely laughed, her voice was like a rusty gate. "The Moonwhisper," she croaked, her eyes were glinting with malevolence.Lyrien called out the name the woman called him "Moonwhisper."'' Who are you and why did you refer me as that?'' He deman
The man suddenly slammed on the brakes, and Aria's heart skipped a beat. "We have to leave, now!" he urged, his eyes were scanning the surrounding area. The two hastily carried Lyrien out of the car and into the nearby forest, the trees are looming above them like sentinels. The man moved so swiftly, his knowledge of the terrain was evident as he navigated at the dense underbrush. Not long after, they reached a small clearing, and in the center of it stood a cozy cottage, smoke was drifting lazily from the chimney. The man pushed the door open, and they entered, Lyrien's limp form carried between them. The man placed Lyrien on a bed inside the small room, his movements were gentle despite the urgency of the situation. Aria looked around them, she was taking in the simple furnishings and the warm fire crackling in the hearth.Just then, a little girl appeared to them in the doorway, her eyes were fixed on Aria. She was so young, no more than ten years old in age, but her hair was strea

"Aria, are you okay?" he asked, with concern etched on his innocence face.Arachne's eyes never left Lyrien's on the floor. "He's a Moonwhisperer," she explained. "They calm the room, separating darkness and light. But they're also incredibly sensitive to darkness."Erith's gaze turned to Aria. "And Aria's a Shadowbringer, made of darkness."Arachne nodded. "The silver in the bullet that hit Lyrien reacted with his Moonwhisperer blood, causing this...aberration."Aria's coughing then subsided, and she lo
"Find Aria soon, Erin. Before the next full moon." The woman voice sounded like a warning.Erin's grip on the desk tightened. "What's the hurry?"The woman's voice dropped to again to him like a whisper. "Aria's no longer the tame wolf you knew inside the Seven Tower gates. Every second she's spending outside is makking her growing stronger, and the curse within her is stirring."Erin's eyes narrowed. "I know"The woman's stare at him with her gaze seemed to bore into his soul. "If another full moon rises, the curse in her wolf will grow louder and uncontrollable. By then, no witch or wolf will be able to face her. She'll be unstoppable."Erin's mind was reeled as the woman's words painted a terrifying picture. He had to find Aria before it was too late. The woman's eyes glinted with a fierce light. "You have two weeks, Erin. Find Aria, and bring her back to me. I'll help you get the scale off her, but you must act fast."Erin nodded, a plan already forming in his mind. He would stop
As soon as Arachne saw the woman, she rushed to embrace her. Aria's curiosity was suddenly piqued as she couldn't take it in, she asked Arachne, "Is she the witch who will save Lyrien?"Arachne smiled and shook her head. "No, Aria. Eluned is not a witch or a wolf. She's a human, a skilled healer who will take care of Lyrien."Aria's eyes were welled up with tears as she knelt before Eluned, begging, "Please, you have to help me save Lyrien. I'll do anything, just please save him."Eluned's face was filled with compassion as she stroked Aria's hair. "Don't worry, child. I'll do everything in my power to save Lyrien. I promise."Aria's sobs became subsided, it was replaced by a glimmer of hope. She looked up at Eluned, with her eyes which was shining with tears. "Thank you...thank you so much."Eluned smiled and helped A
