GREEN HOSPITAL, 8 PMRobin Jane Stevens sat beside her brother who remained unconscious on the hospital bed in the ward where lots of other patients were receiving treatment. She couldn't help but feel angry at herself for making him this way, if only she was fast enough to come out of the lodge to receive him at his arrival, he wouldn't have been at the mercy of that egotistic jerk.Thinking of Andrew Grey made her blood boil, he was extremely obnoxious and insufferable. She had never met anyone who had no regard for others like him before. He treated the accident as though he had merely stepped on an ant and not almost killed her brother, her only close relative. The fact that Jack had almost died brought tears to her eyes and she wondered how long he was going to remain unconscious and how she was going to cover the hospital bills."There was no way she was going to make use of that bastard's money, she had dignity and would get her revenge, nobody messed with her and got away with it," she thought.Jack was her older brother and despite the three years gap between his twenty-two years of age and her nineteen, they were pretty close and had each other's backs. After their parents died when Jack was sixteen, the only money available in their trust fund was a hundred and fifty thousand dollars for educational welfare, which was to be supervised by their father's brother Thomas Stevens, a money lover, who found a way to manipulate the whole thing and took all the money for himself as soon as Jack turned eighteen which was the requirement for access to the money. The both of them had to depend on part-time jobs, which they took up at cafes and convenience stores and the little money Jack got from taking photographs of people. He had always been good at photography and had taken pictures of many people in their neighbourhood before he realized that he had talent in it. And after graduating from high school, he passed the entrance exam for a scholarship to study Software engineering at NYU.A supportive neighbour of theirs, Mrs. Stacks, had housed them after their uncle deserted them and had taken care of Robin while Jack was away in school and now that she was in her first year in college, he just wanted to check up on her and how she was handling her studies. He had always been overprotective, just like a father figure.A snap of fingers interrupted her chain of thoughts and she looked up to see a tall guy with ice blue eyes and dark blonde hair staring at her, he looked about twenty or thereabout with a grey T-shirt and black jeans on, he was quite lanky and she wondered where she had seen him before as he looked very familiar."Hi, sorry to just come in here like this, we met at the cafe this morning. I'm Joe Anderson, Andrew's roommate and friend, I just...""Hold it there Joe or whatever the hell your name is. I don't wanna hear anything else from you. So you've come here to mock me, to insult me just like your rich friend already has? If that's it, then please get out of here I don't wanna see you, and if you don't leave, I'll call the doctor to see you out!""It's alright okay? I simply came to apologize. Drew is my friend and I know sometimes he does some rash things but he's a nice person when you get to know him.""Well, I don't care to know about his character. All I know is he treated Jack and me like crap. Just as though we were beneath his designer shoes. He thinks he's almighty. I'll make sure to ruin him, do me a favour and pass that message to him okay? Now please take your leave.""I can understand your anger, but you can't just conclude on his character without getting to know him. Last night it was our friend, Evans birthday and we went out to celebrate, but we had a little too much to drink and Drew was the soberest one out of the three of us, so he took the wheel. I'm sorry for all the trouble we caused, it wasn't intentional. I promise to pay all the medical bills necessary for treating him.""That's not necessary. Please leave right now, she said gesturing towards the door.Joe turned to leave but stopped and asked, "I didn't get to know your name yet, can I know what's your name at least?" He asked with a smile, his pearly whites teeth on display."I'm Robin, now can you leave?""It was nice meeting you Robin, I'm Joe once again. I'll get the bill, please let me pay it's the least I could do, I'll check on him tomorrow, I'm sorry once again, bye," he said and took his leave. While Robin kept staring at Jack, lying on the bed.★★★★★★ANDREW'S HOUSE, 8 PM"Drew, I can't believe this, this is the same reason why we broke up before. How could you harass a girl like that and the news is everywhere. I don't want to ruin my clean reputation in this school by being linked to a pervert. I only permitted you to flirt with other girls but not to sexually harass them for God's sake Drew!" She yelled as she pointed at the picture of Robin pointing at him in the cafe earlier that morning."Would you calm down and listen to me first? You know very well and last time, it was also a lie and Jenny had framed me, I thought we've moved on from that and I don't even know this girl, she just stormed into the cafe this morning and accused me of running her brother over. Someone must have shared those pictures and changed the story, babe it's not true okay. You know me, I've never been aggressive with any girl before, you've got to believe me, babe.""Drew, my father is not going to like this, you know very well by now, the nature of our relationship. We agreed to come together to unite our families because of business. My father's not going to like this at all. I've worked so hard and avoided parties and clubs, so I can graduate with no blemish on my family name. But, I'm afraid you are going to drag me down too.""Yes, I admit I hit her brother, but I gave her money for his treatment, okay and I promise that was just it. You've got to trust me. I and the guys were wasted and I can't even remember everything clearly. It's all a blur.""I'm sorry, but I think we need a break to straighten things out. I'm getting mixed feelings here.""Fine, you don't believe me then let's break up right now. Let's end it already, let me do the needful and break this off.""Okay, goodbye Drew," Jenna said as she sashayed her way out of his room and his apartment. For ten minutes, he waited to feel a void in his heart, but there was nothing instead he felt extremely free. Jenna had been a pain most of the time and he had only tolerated her nagging and insecure attitude because of his dad, but now that they had both broken up on a mutual basis, he was sure he could go back to his previous lifestyle.Damn, he had missed playing the Conquest List with his friends, sure Jenna was a steady part of his life almost like a responsibility to him since high school when his dad had introduced her to him as his business associate's daughter when he was fifteen. She had been really pretty, but that wasn't enough to ignore her selfish attitude. As he sat studying for the upcoming semester exams, his phone rang showcasing his father's contact ID and he knew something must be wrong.Silas Grey never called him unless there was a problem or a new business function to attend. He picked the call and his father's thundering voice came bursting through the speaker."What is this that I just heard Andrew? Did you harass a young lady in the university? Is that what I sent you to school for?""No father, it's not true. I'd never do anything like that, it...""Listen, I don't care if it's true or not, all I want is for you to do whatever it takes to take that post down, now!" Silas yelled and then the call ended."I'll deal with you ocean eyes, just wait and see," he said to himself. He went to bed later in the night and was awoken early at 7 am the next morning by the sound of his phone ringing. It was Harry calling and he was sure that it must be with news concerning the girl."Good morning Andrew, I got her profile and I'll send it to you via email.""Thanks, Harry," he said and ended the call, within a few seconds he received the mail. The document read:Name Robin Jane Stevens.Nationality: British.Parents: Jane Stevens And Harvey Stevens.Sibling(s): Jack Stevens.Hair Colour: Ginger red.Eye Color: Aquamarine.Height: 5ft 10 inches.Sexuality: Straight.Religion: Christian.Birth Date: Wednesday 22nd Of May, 2001.Disability: None.Education: Currently In Her First Year Of Studying Graphic Designing."Well, well, well, so her name is Robin, huh?" he said to himself and laughed."Robin, I will ruin you, it's a promise, you just wait and see," he said while looking at the photo attached to the mail.DINNER AND INTERROGATIONS.BUTTERFLY LODGE, ROBIN'S FLAT, 9 PM.Taking off her shoes and dropping her keys on the table next to the mirror, Robin flopped unto her soft bed. It had been a long day and her mind was filled with various thoughts. She had just got back to her room after visiting Jack and before she left she had asked for the papers concerning the hospital bills but had been told it had been covered by an anonymous person, so she just concluded it was Joe who paid it.She turned on her mobile data and scrolled through the school's gossip forum, where details about everything going on around campus was posted by students. She frowned as she sighted a picture of her pointing at Drew together with his friends earlier that morning. She quickly read the post which said: "Campus God, Andrew Grey Takes Advantage Of Helpless Student And Gets Embarrassed In Public."After reading the remaining details, which was nothing but made up stories, she wondered who could have posted such a
THE PLOTHARVEY SNACKS DINER, 10PM"Look, you guys have to relax. I'd like to finish my food first before sharing my brilliant idea," Miller said with a goofy grin."Sure, Einstein," Evans replied. They all ate their food in silence and all the while, Robin couldn't help but notice Drew's burning haze on her as she ate, so she decided to avoid meeting his eyes and pinned all her attention on her pizza slice. After they had all eaten, Miller cleared his throat dramatically and started, "So as I said already, I have the feeling that the culprit is a female and is probably doing this out of spite or under the instructions of someone. So I will simply hack into the account used in the post and get the contact details and...""What? No you will not, I think that is just going too far," Evans protested."Can you be silent while the master speaks?" Miller asked in a fake annoyed tone. He could be described as the smartest one out of the four of them, as he was experienced in anything related
ENCOUNTERS AND FIGHTSDEPARTMENT OF GRAPHIC DESIGNING, 7 AM.Leaving the Calculus 108 lecture room, Robin sighted John Davis Stacks from the Stacks family, popular for making designer shoes and bags, the only friend she had in the entire school. They had been classmates in a prestigious high school, where she studied as a scholarship student, Jack had always been nice and they became friends when he transferred from his previous school to hers in senior high. He had done a lot for her in the three and half years of them knowing each other. He was a tall, slightly tanned, handsome and muscular guy, a fashion designing student in his first level. He had on a blue, long sleeved shirt which he rolled up at the sleeves and white jeans with white sneakers, which was one of the shoes designed from his family's shoe line.""Hello John, how are you doing?" she asked from behind him."How am I doing? You've got to be kidding me. I just saw the post Rob, how could you not tell me about somethin
GOING SHOPPINGPENNY'S CAFE, ACHIEVERS UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, 8 AM."Grey, don't you think this time you went a little too far, how could accuse Robin of scheming the entire accident, I know her very well, she would never risk the life of her brother for any reason. What happened was accidental and what you were supposed to do as a decent person, which you're not, was to help them to the hospital at least...," John was saying before Andrew cut him off."Hold it there Stacks, you have absolutely no right to yell at me, got it and you ocean eyes, I see you have a fan club already, everyone thinks I'm the bad guy now, huh? Is Stacks also one of the brainless guys you've captured under your spell?""No one is under any spell here, you're just being a big bully, you think you own everyone just because you're rich? Anyways, Miller hasn't given me any more info as regards our plan, so what else do I have to do?" Robin demanded calmly, despite how much she wanted to yell at him.Just as An
CHEESE IN THE TRAPGS SHOPPING MALL."You don't have to give any compliments, that you don't mean. You must have seen better-looking girls, given your player status," Robin answered while pushing back a lock of her long red hair, which had been straightened."No, I mean what I just said. Why don't we just forget all that happened before and just get to the party? How did you find my staff, were they nice?""Yeah, wait a minute. What do you mean by your staff?""I own this mall, I established it when I turned sixteen with my savings," Andrew replied with pride."Wow, it's amazing, you did that at such a young age? And yes, your staff were nice to me.""Okay then gorgeous, shall we go now?""Yes, of course," Robin replied with a smile and she suddenly realized that it was the first time she had smiled at him and that he was a player, she quickly switched back to her cold and detached attitude. Andrew took note of that smile and how her entire body language changed, but he chose to be si
LOVE RUNTHE BRAVES CLUB, 4:30 PM"Yes, is Miss Stevens your new girlfriend, what's the relationship between you both?" Came the voice of another reporter."We need to know, why did she help you out and did you truly run her brother over?" A man in a black suit asked. The entire room became so noisy with the paparazzi taking photos and barking questions."Looking over at Robin, Andrew answered, "No, she's not my girlfriend, but she is indeed a very good friend of mine and is a new member of The Braves and as for running her brother over, it was all an accident and we have reconciled everything. I'll will answer no more questions from anyone, now the app launch will proceed. The entire room fell silent after that and then the opening act which was a drama, telling the story of the new game, LOVE RUN was performed, but Robin's mind was not present there anymore, she kept wondering if Andrew didn't realize that by calling her a friend of his, the paparazzi would only interpret her as his
THE TESTTHE DANCE FLOOR, THE BRAVES CLUB, 7PM.Blinking repeatedly, Robin answered while stammering, "What, what do you mean by fall in love with you? You're not my type and I don't even remember agreeing to be your date, okay,""Okay, so will you be my date for tonight and may I have this dance?" Andrew asked with a sincere smile and his right hand stretched out."Sure, Mr. Andrew Alexander Grey," she answered with a smile and placed her hand in his.Leading her to the dance floor, Andrew ignored the gasps of shock coming from the crowd. All he could see was Robin in her beautiful short black dress with her red hair catching all the lights and flaming like fire over her shoulders. He stared into her ocean eyes as they took their place in the middle of the dance floor. Sounds of photographs being taken was heard in the entire room, but that was none of his concern, his entire attention was on the beauty before him."I'm really nervous I've never waltzed in public or attended this sor
ALMOST KISSFIRST FLOOR, THE BRAVES CLUB, 9:45PM.The match was quite tough as both Andrew and Robin were pros in virtual football."Yes, yes, yes! I'm so beating your ass," Robin screamed as she scored her first goal before the half time and bumped her shoulder with Andrew, which had him saying with a frown."Oh yeah, let's see about that in the next half, it's just 1-0, I'll definitely win at the end.""Tough luck there man, I don't think so," she replied as they continued with the second half and at the end of it all, it was a tie with a score of 1-1."I really hate losing, but I guess having a draw is not so bad anyway and just so you know, I went easy on you," Andrew said as he sat and took a sip of the mineral water on his desk."Whatever, we are equals at the game. I remember you promised to tell me about Jenna, so spill. She's so beautiful, I mean what happened between you guys, why did you break up. Just feel free and talk about it, this will probably be the last time we have
ONCE AGAINTWO YEARS LATER...ACHIEVERS UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, 2 PMROBIN'S POVPaying the designated driver, I got out of the car with my handbag and waited for him to get the rest of my luggage from the car trunk. After ensuring that all my things were out, I thanked him before he drove off.Looking at the environment around me, I smiled as I took in the beautiful decorations of AUT. The beauty of this college seemed to have augmented since the last time I was here two years ago. After admiring the college entrance for about two full minutes, I took out my phone to call Stacey. She and I were still in touch even though I was away in London for the past two years. The previous week when I informed her of the fact that I was done with the graphic designing training that Uncle Joe had enrolled me for and that I was gonna be coming back to AUT, she had screamed in unconcealed excitement and promised to pick me up at the school gate when I arrived. When she had said that, I had asked
RINGS AND KNIVESTHE BEEHIVE ARENA, 12 NOON."Yes, you heard me correctly guys, Robin is more qualified than anyone else to play for us in virtual football. I got to know about her amazing skills on the night of our app launch party. She and I played together and she almost beat me, in fact, we eventually settled at equal scores. I think she was going easy on me that night. You know me, I'm not the type to admit that anyone else is better than me, so it takes a lot of courage for me to give Robin this role. If there's anyone who isn't in support of this, please indicate," Andrew said seriously."Jack has told me about her amazing skills, but I never thought she could beat you at your best sport, Drew. If you think she's good, then she must be." Miller teased while laughing."Shut up Mill," Joe playfully hit Miller's shoulder while laughing."Team leaders from The Gators, The Believe Team and Team Ice, please bring your players to the tournament corner. The tournament for third place w
ROBIN?"And 1. Programmers, please proceed. You have thirty-five minutes to finish all fifty questions. Remember to use at least forty seconds for each question," Alan announced. The Bravers as well as other teams quickly gathered around three computers and started working on the first ten questions.Andrew sat in front of the system for problem-solving while the other Bravers sat behind the two other systems for offence and defence."It seems like Andrew Grey's team are more relaxed this year and their speed this time is also very good," Linda, one of the commentators remarked."Yes, you're right Linda. Oh, wait, it seems like Team Ice is trying to launch an attack on The Braves, but of cause they are quick enough to defend it. It seems like The Bravers came in very prepared!" Alex, the other commentator replied.Robin watched Andrew from where she and the other Bravers sat and never before had she felt so tensed. She watched the frown of concentration on Andrew's face as he solved t
COMPETITIVE PROGRAMMINGTHE BEEHIVE ARENA, 11 PM"Why do I feel like Max is gonna retaliate violently?" Robin asked fearfully. The look Andrew gave her had her shivering on the inside."He can't do anything, don't worry about him," Andrew replied, holding her hand."Okay ladies and gentlemen, with that settled, I believe we can all continue with the competition. Bravers, you're free to go back to your seats, thank you. We've wasted enough time indeed," Vanessa said after The Storm Team alongside Harry was led out of the arena."Now that The Storm Team is out of the competition, we have only nine teams left. Jeffery Michaels will give us a report on the top leaders of the first round. This round has a total of thirty points and the next one has a total of forty points. Any team that fails to make up to fifty points from the first two rounds added together, would not qualify for the final round. Are you guys excited to find out which team has won this popularity round?" Alan asked."Yes

Harry shouted as the security guards took him by the arms and dragged him away."What do you think they're gonna do to him?" Robin asked I'm fear."It's definitely gonna be what he deserves," Roberto replied.★★★★★THE BEEHIVE ARENAMax Reed was also dragged up to the stage for questioning and Camila couldn't sit put while her nephew was being maltreated, so she stood up and asked, "Who do you think you're dragging that way? Max is my nephew and I have the feeling that he has been set up by someone. I'm sure that Robin Stevens must have set Max up, she was the one who sold those ideas to him. There must be a mix up somewhere!""Miss Reed I advise you to have your seat and stop giving those remarks. We all just saw the video where your nephew and another student from AUT was talking about how
DAY 1 ONCE AGAINTHE BRAVES WAITING ROOM, 10:00 AMRobin stepped back from Harry and said, "Let's all go out now. It's 10:00 AM already."Why didn't I get a hug?" Harry frowned."That's because you don't deserve it," Robin replied tartly."Ladies and gentlemen, we welcome you once again to The Regional Gaming Competition. As you all know, the competition was scheduled for last week, but due to some misunderstandings, it had to be postponed to this week. Who is excited?" Alan's voice came booming from all the speakers in the arena."I am!" The fans replied, excitedly."The competition has started, can you please keep quiet?" Robin frowned and then all The Bravers focused their attention on the large LED TV in the room, which showed what was happening on stage.★★★★★★THE BEEHIVE ARENA, 10:02 AMThe fans showed their excitement when the camera focused on their corner as they sprayed confetti and raised thundersticks to cheer their preferred teams on. PAPER BAGS AND GUMMY BEARSTHE BEEHIVE ARENA, 9:30 AM"Babe, check out who's here to cheer us on!" Andrew said with a smile when Robin opened the door of the room reserved for her in the arena. The competition was to begin in thirty minutes time and all gamers had been given rooms to rest and practice in.She had been working on her increasing the speed of her programming skills. The previous day after the meeting, Harry left, saying he could practice well enough on his own. That left Andrew ensuring that all The Bravers played virtual football matches against one another in pairs. They also made some amendments to Campus Silence, Love Run and SAFE.Robin was indeed tired due to the constant training sessions they all went through all night long and now even with bags under her eyes, she was still very much excited to compete."Who is it?" She asked while rubbing her eyes tiredly after letting Andrew in.Jack then walked into the room with a huge smile and said in a rush, "Hi my cutes
REVELATIONSANDREW'S APARTMENT, 12:30 PM"What do you think? Of course, you have to apologize to her. I told you she was innocent, but you just won't listen," Stanley said.Looking down at her phone with a smile, Robin read the text message Andrew sent to her.MESSAGE DETAILS: Get everyone seated, we're in the parking lot now. Harry shouldn't suspect anything when we walk into the house."Okay, Riley, Gabe, Sophie and Brie, you all have to go downstairs. Andrew and Harry will be here any minute from now. Everyone, please be quiet, okay?" Robin told them all. After they had all relaxed in their seats and pretended like they were discussing other club related matters, Andrew and Harry walked into the room.Fiddling with his glasses, Harry said, "Sorry that I'm late guys. So what system do I use? I think we need to work on our speed first. I noticed most of us are quite slow in comparison with the other teams."Taking a seat in the swivel chair with President written on it, Andrew replie
DEALSANDREW'S APARTMENT, 12PMRobin spent the rest of the morning after church, preparing light snacks and refreshments for The Bravers alongside Sophie and Gabrielle. The rest of Andrew's family had gone home to rest so that they could make it early to The Beehive Arena, the next day for the competition."You see how good they turned out? I told you I make the best hors d'oeuvres in New York City," Gabrielle bragged."Oh please Brie, my cupcakes taste much better than your ridiculous h'ors d'oeuvres which I just can't stop eating," Robin retorted before sneaking another samosa into her mouth."Why do you keep eating them then?" Gabrielle laughed.Beating Robin's hand, Sophie said, "You think her hors d'oeuvres are ridiculous, but you keep eating them. At this rate, there'd be nothing left for us to serve the club members.""Ouch that hurt, Soph. You're just jealous because you haven't been away to eat any of hers yet. I love your punch and cocktails though, the taste is very differe
