Mystery Guy’s POV

“Did this person have red eyes?” Alpha asked.

“Not that we saw, but we also weren’t getting close enough to see.” Legolas stated while both of us shook our heads. “All we could really see was the outline of the person. They were dressed in all black and I think they might have even had a hat on but I’m not 100% sure on that one. But it was definitely a female voice.”

Both our dads were staring at each other, and if I didn’t know any better, I would say that they were scared. I’ve never seen either of them act this way before. Not even with the few rogue attacks we’ve had. If anything, they almost looked excited for those, but this, this was different. What could possibly have them scared this bad? I needed answers. It was obvious that this involved the runt, and the damn mate bond was getting stronger, and the need to protect her was becoming overwhelming.

“OK, let’s just cut the shit out now.” I snapped. All eyes were on me now, with the alpha and my dad’s eyebrows

Cheyenne’s POV“Me? Why the hell would they want me? I’m not important. Not like any of you are at least.” Everything was making sense up until now. “Can we take a break?” Mystery Guy had asked looking at the Alpha and Beta.“Yes, we probably should. I will call you guys back here when we get the results from that blood work. Maybe that will help answer some questions. In the meantime, you kids go get something to eat and you two,” He pointed between the boys, “Do not let her out of your site. Got it?!” Both of them nodded their head and said “yes sir” in unison. We all got up from our seats and I followed Legolas out with the Mystery Guy behind me. Koa had popped in and out throughout the meeting to help me understand things and make things click. I almost slipped up a couple of times telling them that my wolf confirmed what we thought, but I covered it up with saying I had read about it at one of the libraries. When we got to the bottom of the stairs, the Alpha and Beta had went

  • THE CHOSEN ALPHA QUEEN   Chapter 31 Nikolai's POV

Nikolai’s POVWe were piecing together information with Aleena. For me it was a little awkward working with someone so young, much less the fact that she was an omega. I’ve never met a young omega female that knew as much as she did especially on this particular topic. I had asked a few friends of mine that nobody knew about, to look into what we had been putting together. I was sending them texts as we pieced together major points, such as the locations moving and the 150-year gap, and etc.… We were all trying to work together to get as far ahead of this as we could. In the middle of our meeting, my office phone rang. I excused myself from the conference room and went down to my office to take the call. “Alpha, It’s Becka. I need you down here now. I got the results back on that girl’s blood.”“On my way.” Was all I said. I hung up the phone, told the boys and Derek that I had to go but didn’t give them any direction or explanation. Becka sounded almost worried about what she found

Gunner POV Alida Romanov. I kept repeating her name over and over in my head. It had been over 36 hours since my mate vanished into thin air. I didn’t know if she was even alive, I couldn’t feel anything, not even the bond. Alpha Nik did say that a Lycan bond is different than our normal wolf bond. I should’ve known something was up with her when she shifted. She’s not even 18 yet and her wolf was huge, bigger than Maddox or Axle, Legolas ’s wolf. I’ve never seen a wolf so big before, but goddess was she beautiful. Solid white from head to toe with those sparkling emerald eyes that seems to glow. “Gunner. GUNNER! Snap out of it! She’s trying to come through the bond!” Maddox howling in my head. “I don’t feel anything!” I sat straight up in bed, searching for any feeling of anything at that point inside myself. “I can feel her. Maybe it’s her wolf?” Maddox said questionably. “Ok, let’s umm, let’s just meditate. Focus?” I had no idea what I was doing. I’ve never had a mate before m

  • THE CHOSEN ALPHA QUEEN   Chapter 33 Gunner's/Aleena's POV

Gunner’s POVI was in the middle of the meeting with the Alpha’s, Charlie, my mate’s parents, my dad, and Legolas , when I felt the connect being forced through. I opened my mind to let her in but this time it was different. Maddox was actually seeing through Sarah ’s eyes, which I could see also. There was a man standing in the doorway. I immediately grabbed a pencil and paper and started drawing.“Son what’s…” Dad started to ask, but I held my hand up to quiet him. I went back to sketching the guy as I listened in on their conversation. I was almost done when I figured out that this guy was my mate’s biological father. He was the King of the Lycans. By the time I was done sketching, everybody’s eyes were on me. I slid the paper to Charlie, who took it and, wait…was he smiling?“What is so funny?” I stood up asking him.“My apologies. Your sketch is actually perfectly. I know this man and he is…” Charlie’s smile got even larger.“He’s the King of the Lycans.” I finished for him. Eve

Aleena's POVI woke up to the sound of someone knocking on my door. I jumped up not knowing what time it was and thinking I was late to my first day of training. I still had the map across my bed, so I quickly folded it up and shoved it under my mattress but telling the person to come in.Bethanie came in with a smile on her face and had a cart loaded with food again for me.“You really don’t think I would eat all of this do you?” I asked with a smile on my face at the amount of food that was on this cart.“I heard you were starting training today, so I wanted to make sure you weren’t going on an empty stomach.” Bethanie just shrugged her shoulders at me.“Well I’m sure that’s not going to happen with all this food here.” I chuckled. I grabbed a huge saucer type bowl and sniffed it. “That would be my creation. I call it the All-In-One.” Bethanie said with the biggest grin on her face.“What’s in it?” I questioned as my mouth was already salivating and just the smell of it. “Start wi

  • THE CHOSEN ALPHA QUEEN   Chapter 36 Aleena's POV

Aleena's POVThe past few days have actually been fun, between training and working in the gym with Jax. Sarah has been more relaxed herself with being able to shift more. She was extremely excited for the pack run tonight. It was a full moon and everybody shifts and runs with the King leading them all. The moon helps our wolves to recharge basically. Our wolves get stronger every time we shift and they draw their energy from the moon. “Good morning Princess.” Jax teased me.“You really do have a death wish don’t you?” I asked looking at him from the corner of my eyes while smirking.“It’s true. Why won’t you just accept it?” Jax asked.I looked back down at my plate and the stack of chocolate chip and butterscotch chip pancakes, playing with a few pieces that I had already cut off. “I don’t know. It just doesn’t feel right Jax. I grew up as an omega just to find out right before my eighteenth birthday that I’m literally a princess. Princesses only exist in fairytales Jax.” I said.

Jax’s POVAlida and Gunner had been traveling around the world. To say they were gone a lot would be an understatement. Tora and I have been trying to keep up with the alphas here and requests they had for Alida for when she returned. Thank the Goddess Tora was more organized than I was. I didn’t know how to do any of this shit. We have been building the house back up little by little in our spare time. Chelsea was about to pop at any moment. Things just seemed to be going great. Apart from the everyday stress, there wasn’t much I could complain about. Life was going great with my mate by my side. Meanwhile, we were still checking into Tyler’s mate, Stephanie to see if bringing him in as a beta would be the smart choice considering who her father was. So far there were no red flags. I would say that it would be safe to bring her into the pack, but that decision was up to Alpha Nik. Emma did her time in the pack jail and faced her trial in her own pack as well. They only added 6 mor

  • THE CHOSEN ALPHA QUEEN   Chapter 51 The end

Aleena's POVI didn’t get shit for sleep last night. Gunner was on patrols and my mind with wondering with all the different impossible outcomes for my sister’s trails today. In one outcome, I ended up on death row and they were both standing there laughing at me. Ridiculous, I know. Gunner would randomly check in on me, feeling the stress and anxiety through the mate bond. I rolled my tiny ass out of bed with a moan and made my way to the bathroom. A good relaxing shower was much needed right now. My whole body was tensed from all the stress. I didn’t even bother grabbing clothes to take with me. Nobody ever came into our room anyways. Well, not without knocking first anyways.I took Gunner’s shirt off and just tossed it on the floor along with my panties and shorts. I turned on the shower to let it warm up while I brushed my hair out. Once I finished, I stepped in the shower and just stood under the shower head. I let hell’s fire water just rain down on my face and roll down my bod

  • THE CHOSEN ALPHA QUEEN   Chapter 50 Aleena's POV

Aleena's POVWaking up the next morning, I wiped the sleep from my eyes and stretched my whole body out. I looked over to see that Gunner was still asleep when an idea popped in my head. I grabbed a pen and paper and wrote him a note like he did to me. Only instead of a yellow rose I placed a heresy’s kiss candy on top of it.I quietly made my way out of the bedroom and closed the door softly behind me. Once I knew I was in the clear, I made my way down to the kitchen for some breakfast. It was still early and barely anyone was up. Mostly just the warriors going out for their own personal training or patrols switching shifts.I was in the middle of eating my butterscotch chip pancakes when my phone rang. I took it out of my pocket and looked at the caller ID. It was an unknown number. Normally I would just hit ignore but something was telling me to answer it. So I slid my thumb over the green circle on the screen.“Hello?” I asked.“Is this Alida Romanov?” A male’s voice on the other

Aleena's POVI stood there in utter shock for a moment until one of the guys behind me leaned down towards my ear and whispered.“Do you know them?” Jax asked.I let out a warning growl and took a defensive position causing both of them to do the same.“I got this sweetie.” Sarah laughed. I felt this wave of energy come out of me and felt my eyes change colors. “On your knees NOW!” Sarah growled. The two intruders tried to fight but ended up on their knees with their necks bared in submission. It wasn’t until I heard a whimper behind me that I realized that my command had affected even the alpha. I quickly released and apologized to the guys whom all reassured me that it was perfectly fine. “So you gunna tell us who these two are?” Alpha Nik asked now standing beside me and pointing between the two.“Alpha Nik, Beta Derek, Jax, these intruders would be two of my older sisters.” I walked around them so I was standing behind them. I took a quick look Gunner still sleeping on the bed be

  • THE CHOSEN ALPHA QUEEN   Chapter 48 Aleena's POV

Aleena's POVI’ve been back home for a week now, and so far everything seems to be going good. The lycans have been adjusting to life outside the mountain, and the wolves have been very welcoming to them. Some have even found their mates already. In those cases, the lycan’s went to live with their mates in their respective packs. I promised Jax that we would find a solution and it was a rather easy one to come by. Legolas and Chelsea have been locked in their room since we returned home for the most part. I’ve been joking about being an auntie in 9 weeks and how excited I was. Legolas was actually the one that would blush before Chelsea did. Chelsea had also learned a few tricks from her Grandma on witchcraft that she couldn’t wait to show me. She had taken some of the vases full of flowers from the living room in the pack house and I followed her outside. Next thing I knew, all the flowers were floating around us in the air. After the initial shock wore off, it was actually quite b

  • THE CHOSEN ALPHA QUEEN   Chapter 47

Aleena's POVI was back home at a family cookout. The sun was shining and not a cloud in the sky. Temperature was just perfect with just a slight random breeze, just enough to make the wildflowers in the distance dance amongst themselves. The smell of the hog roast over the firepit filling the air. Kids were running around carefree playing with each other. Everything was simply perfect!Next thing I knew I was ripped from my paradise but someone grabbing my ankle and yanking me out of bed. Sarah and I both immediately woke up in defense mode and started fighting back. When I broke free and put some distance between myself and the attacker, I realized it was Koda.“What in the actual fuck do you think you’re doing?” I shouted.“Following orders!” He snapped back with a slight warning growl.“Did he just growl at us?” Sarah popped up in my head.“I think so.” I smirked knowing very damn well what she was about to do. I felt Sarah coming forward but not enough to force the shift. “Boy, y

  • THE CHOSEN ALPHA QUEEN   Chapter 46 POV

Aleena's POVI stood there in the shadows of the caves waiting for Jax to meet up with me. I was lost in my thoughts staring out into the horizon over the ocean, wondering where they were, when I heard a rock skid across the ground and it snapped me back to reality. “We are just 2 wolves out for a run if anybody asks.” I said quietly looking him dead in the eye.“Ok but what are we really doing?” He asked.“Clearing the beach. They are still going to send trackers out but only a mile off the beach before they let the others off the ships.” I said already slipping my shoes off. Jax nodded and followed my lead. I headed behind a tree to shift while Jax remained in the cave and shifted. We just nodded to each other and then took off running down the beach. We covered about 3 or 4 miles of shoreline and into the woods before Jax got my attention and pointed towards the sun. No words were spoken as we didn’t want anyone to overhear our conversations. On our way out of the woods Jax start

I wasn’t lying, I don’t know every single soul that got on those ships, and I thought it was mainly the lower ranked lycans that fled.“Not of that rank?
