CHAPTER NINETY SIX

The night had been a roller coaster ride, one that Ryder hadn't seen coming when he'd agreed to make appearance at the damn ball, but he was glad he did.

She'd been there, like something out of his dream and the rest of the world had disappeared, well until Margo had come crashing into it.

Thankfully, they were away from all that, but the fact that they had to talk about what had happened messed with him.

He'd wronged her in every sense of the word and he owed her all the apology in the world but at the moment, all he could do was watch her and think how well being pregnant suited her.

She'd put on just a little more flesh than the last time they'd seen each other and her rounded belly just sat cutely underneath the dress she was wearing.

She looked tired and in need of a long rest, but she still held her head high in that way that is all hers and refused to budge.
