I called Lance and he picked up the call on the second ring "You ruined everything, I'll make sure to kill your wife and child". He said angrily.

"Don't you dare try to harm Emma or my son". I said and he laughed in return "if you really care about them, then you'll hand yourself over to me and don't think of pulling any stunts, one wrong move could get your wife and son killed and be sure to bring James with you, I have a score to settle with him". He said and hung up the phone.

I knew he was bluffing but just to be safe, I asked the police inspector to send some men over to the hospital where Emma stayed.
