We ended our honeymoon on a good note in the same night when he received a disturbing call from his cousin. We quickly packed our stuffs and took the plane back to our home.

The journey was agonizing. I never saw Brandon like this. He was depressed and quiet for most of the time. It made me realize how deeply he cared for his family. Evangeline was his sister, he was very attatched to her and it also made me sad to see that they were going through this phase.

When we landed at the airport, it was around eleven in the morning. Brandon looked tired and completely exhausted.

"Let's go to our home first and drop the luggage then we'll visit them." I suggested but he gave me a wary look.

"No, I'm going to the hospital. Colton needs me." He snapped at me. I felt hurt by his harshness but I could understand his state of mind.

"Brandon, please try to understand. You don't look good and I don't think that you're fit to comfort your family. Please don't get my words wrongly." I clarifi
