[ Emma ]

"You're married to Brandon Black, I can't imagine, Emma." Reid looked between I and Brandon. He seemed amused.

"Do you guys know each other?" I asked particular no one among them.

"Yes, we're cousins, Emma. He's my aunt's son and a douchebag." Brandon answered me in a not so pleasant tone and I could sense tension between them but it wasn't my right to investigate their relationship.

"Please don't be mean, Brand. Both you and I know that Rachel was a bitch or I say first grade sl*t who was toying with your feelings and most boys or girls do it in their college years. She saw me and jumped on my lap. You were fool to fall in love with that girl." Reid said in a little frustrated voice.

Air stuck in my lungs as soon as his words reached in my ears. Brandon was in love with a girl who cheated on him with Reid.

Brandon Black, the man who claimed to never fell or fall in love once loved someone deeply and she was the one to hurt him so bad that his faith from love had diminished.
