Chapter 97

"Who was that guy?" the question suddenly jerked Shannon back to reality.

Shannon quirked her brows up, her long lashes batted together.

"He... He is just a work partner... Work-related" Shannon replied, she was secretly wishing he wouldn't question her further.

And just like she wished, he only nodded his head.

The rest of the evening was calm, he ordered her favorite meal and then she digs into the sumptuous meal as she ate to her fill.

They only talked when necessary, for the first time she could sense his nervousness in creating a conversation.

They ended their meal in a short period, Ryan paid the bill and then they walked out from the restaurant.

Shannon had known that Ryan was going to be taking her back in his car, so she had one of her bodyguards return her car.

Ryan walked ahead of her as he opened the car door for her, if this wasn't startling enough then she wondered what was.

"Do you wish to go home or do you want to go out on a tour with me?" Ryan questio
