"You are the only one that can do this Sapphire, not because of the flimsy excuses they gave but because they know you would do," The older woman said staring right ahead her rich hazel eyes glazing over while she brush her hand into her gray hair, the rich curls bouncing against her perfectly trimmed nails with no color on it.

"Damn them all! Damn them all for thinking that I would bend to their wishes when I don't give a flying fuck about them, this family may rot in hell for all I care," She snapped, the anger in her voice and body with the way she was shaking and she stared heatedly at her grandmother. "Why did you find me for them when you know so well that I don't want to be anywhere near them judging by the place you found me," Sapphire said, squinting her eyes at her so hard they turned to slits.

Emiliana knew that she would ask this question at some point but she didn't want to ask it so soon and straight forward, her granddaughter really changed so much. But since she wanted it straightforward the least she could do is give her that.

"They agreed to release Ruby,"

All anger in Sapphire's body sizzled before it defused and she calmed down, all the tension in the room dissipated, that name is enough to make her turn mute.

"....." She whispered like it is a great secret nobody must hear. "Why do I have to get involved when you can't, you just go take him from them," she continued.

Ruby Conrad has been in Styles Industry as a singer doubling as model, he was just everything every entertainment industry needed, rich, stylish, charming, handsome, a face that you would most definitely look at more than twice but most of all, that voice that makes you want to listen to him twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week that only belong to the unique celebrity.

Not that Ruby can't stay alone under nobody but he wanted to experience what it is like in a team, he tested it and he really liked it until he wanted to stop working under Stayles and they didn't like that at all. He refused to renew the contract but the entertainment forced him to stay with. He was threatened and blackmailed, he was supposed to be released a year ago by the Gray until the asshole showed how bad he could really be.

"I am not needed at the airport to show my face and look good as...," She trailed off when she realized the reason why she needed to get married to the man they wanted her to marry.

"Yes, the Aldines are the one that would make those bunch of shits release your twin, of course they won't do that for fun, they are known to only mind their own business, they won't get involved if you aren't related to them,"

"But you are still a part of that family too, grandmother, why can't they help you?"

"They only help those directly related to them, as a wife you would be, but as the adopted daughter of the niece of a distant cousin of a great grandfather, no I don't stand a chance,"

"Sapphire," Emiliana took her hands in hers and patted it rhythmically. "I know that it's so unfair dragging you back here when your family still doesn't know your worth but you are the only person that can save him. Your twin has been there for too long," she squeezed her hands. "Nobody can force you to do this but Ruby deserves better than those bunch of assholes."

Sapphire stared at Emiliana and sighed, she owed Ruby this much, he would have definitely been there for her if he was there a year ago, the guy had to hear of her plight through the media simply because they were not allowed to talk to him.

She remembered those times when she used to be so callow, he was the one with the sophisticated brain, wedging her every time she made bad decisions.

Now,he is the one with the bad decision, she has to wedge him and if there is anybody she could make that decision for, it's Ruby.

"Okay, I will do it, when am I getting married?" She asked and Emiliana breathed out in relief.

"You are not getting married right away, you will be engaged to him for six months or maybe a year, before having an actual wedding but you would be married to him legally," she explained and Sapphire nodded, this is the least she could do for him. "You should go to your room and relax, I will tell them about your decision, both the Aldines and the Conrads.”

She got out of the room and released a deep breath, she made her way to her room where the maids already left her luggage.

“Hello, Melissa,” Arielle said into the phone as soon as she was away from the door, she had been standing here and listening to the conversation between Sapphire and Grandmother.

“Is the road clear?”

“Yeah, Sapphire already agreed to marry the man, you can get back home, I didn't want you to have to wait for your mother becàuse granny haven't told them about it,”

“Sapphire is in a damn trouble, but isn't that what we like?” She asked and Arielle could hear the smirk in her words which made her let out one of her own.

“I am just glad that I was able to escape the damn marriage,” Arielle said and paused when she saw Venita walk across the hall, she tutted.

“Venita is back too, she is as arrogant as usual, she is so sure that she won't be forced because of the nature of her job,”

“Should we deal with that bitch, I am beginning to get irritated, she gets on every single nerve in my body and I have millions of that,” Melissa said.

“When are you coming back?”

“Today, of course, the deed is done. Maybe I should also get Over here,” she said with a smirk.

Arielle hung up the call and rolled her eyes at the phone.

“Bitch,” she spat at it.

Sapphire went to sit on the bed and took out her phone before dialing a number, it rang for a while before it was picked up on the other side.

"My big baby, I missed you so much," A feminine voice squealed from the other side and she rolled her eyes smiling.

"I have been gone for just two days,"

"Exactly, that's it, a whole forty two hours, that's ," she whined "and you are far away,"

"Stop being so dramatic, Luci," she scolded and she could picture her pouting.

"Ok, so how is that hellhole you are, are you coping, have you seen that devil's mistress, and the perfect imbecile, what about the mass media and the devil's advocate?" Luci practically vomited and Sapphire laughed and she could picture her pouting again.

"Calm down, drama queen, I met them all except Melissa, turned out she ran away because she didn't want to get married to Triple A's CEO, she called me this morning though, to tell me beforehand that I am getting married and now I have to get married to him and my mother has not changed and Felix thinks that he still has right to tell me what to do, imagine the nerve of that man, he---,"

"Wait, wait, wait, back up, slow down, like wtf!"

"Okay," she said, exhaling deeply.

"But what, you are getting married to the CEO of Triple A's?" She asked in disbelief.

"Hmm, yeah," she said, nodding absentmindedly, squeezing the pillow.

She explained everything that has happened since she landed at the airport to the moment she called and they both exhaled heavily at the same time.

"So now you are getting married to an old man now,"

"Yeah, I am," she said, sulking. "Wait.. what do you mean by an Old Man?"

"The CEO is a seventy-one year old man,"
