SHAMES HIM

"Someone I shouldn't have ever thought of going against? The last face I'll see? Hah! That's so funny," Lucien laughs. He turns to Declan and asks derisively. "People blow their trumpet a lot in this city, don't they?"

Declan chuckles. "They are all rich dummies, what did you expect? I'm actually so sick and tired of them. Like, they never make any other statement. It's like they were all schooled to say the same thing over and over again.

"But I'm not surprised though, most wealthy men are like that; they all think they can scare everyone with their wealth so they normally always blow their trumpet without knowing who they are talking to. But guess what? They will always bow down to you!"

"Hahaha, I love the last part," Lucien grins.

The old man frowns. How can they be chastising him in his very presence without an ounce of fear? Do they know who he is?

"Hmph!" He grits his teeth. "Ain't you two afraid of death? Or do you think I'm joking?!"
