HUMILIATED

Brooks begins breathing in cold air in vast mouthfuls, his face coated in cold orbs of sweat.

The excruciating pain coming from his shoulder causes his vision to blur as he wails out in agony, unable to respond to Lucien's question at all.

Never in his life has he felt such kind of pain. Tears are rolling down his cheeks in waves and his breathing is raspy. It's more like he has aged a decade in the space of a few minutes.

"My patience is running out. I'll give you ten last seconds. Since I've already made you kneel, you have to kiss my feet and kowtow! But if you don't do it and the ten seconds run out, you will die!" Lucien declares coldly, unconcerned about his tears and cries.

He made the bet, so it's only natural that he makes him fulfill it whether he likes it or not!
