ARROGANCE

Brooks opens his mouth to reply but Juliet shakes her head uninterested in whatever it is he wants to say and walks past him to Lucien's side.

Getting to Lucien, she scowls at him and squats to his level. "Why do you love making trouble every time?" She asks only to his hearing and curls her brows at him.

Juliet wants to pull him close to her heart and hug him so tight for standing up for her and saving her even though she won't have accepted the gift but she shakes her head to wade off the thoughts.
