A DISPUTE IN THE AISLE

Lucien and Declan, who had been standing at the back of the gate, come out as Brianna walks out of the gate into the street.

Brianna had out of fear forgotten her self-acclaimed car and is now walking to where she will catch a cab to her best friend's house.

Her actions do not surprise the men behind her because they have seen people forget so many things in their haste to flee from them due to their fear.

It's something they've seen so many times that it's become second nature to them.

Lucien stares at her retreating step until she is out of sight and turns to look at Declan. "Follow her and protect her. I'll take care of the issue with the Villes." He says. "From now on that will be one of your most important tasks."

Declan frowns and lowers his head, expressing his disappointment. "I'm not scared for you because I know who you are, but I'm sad because so many asses will be whooped over there. You already know how much I enjoy doing that."
