"Get over it, Connor. I'll take care of it in no time. For now, be alert and keep your eyes open. By the way, in his attempt to kill me, that assassin used dubious means and caused huge cracks all over the ground a few meters away from the company. You should delegate responsibility for that. Go along now."

"OK, Mr. Wood," Mr. Corbin says, and then drops the subject. He naturally obeys Lucien's command and walks away.

He knows Lucien isn't the type to bother his subordinates about trivial matters.

Lucien watches Mr. Corbin enter the new car he got for him and zoom away before turning around to leave. It's getting late now, just a minute before 7 p.m.

Not far away, a black Land Rover drives over quietly and stops beside Lucien.
