KELLAN'S POV

There had been so much bloodshed that the sun had finally hit deep in the latter part of its cycle, hitting high against the Parisian sky, turned to a sheen of gold over the city as I walked along at Sharon's side, hands bound tightly, hers in mine. Perfect day.
