Chapter 7

Gigi Pov

Cindy and I went to the place I first appeared inside the novel world. Although it seems impossible to find a person who can help me to go back into the real world, I still decide to visit that place. When we get there, I stand in the right place and position where I exactly stood up when I first appeared in this world and then I close my eyes. Hoping that when I woke up I am already back inside my sister's room and realized that what happened to me was just a nightmare. But to my dismay, I am still inside the novel and standing in the middle of the road when I open my eyes. And all eyes of the people who are passing in that place are looking at me. Different reactions are shown on their faces. Some of them are laughing at me, some see me as a weirdo or maybe they think that I lost my sanity. Others shake their head while looking at me. A mix of sympathy and pity was visible on their faces while others doesn't care less about me. They just glance at me and then continue to walk and bypass me. But I didn't care about how they think of me. I didn't know them, after all.

Cindy who couldn't tolerate anymore the different gazes at me from those people finally approaches me.

"Stop what you are doing, Gigi. Many people are staring at you. I'm sure some of them think that you are insane," Cindy said, she holds my arm and pulled me beside the road.

"I don't care what they think about me, Cindy. I just want to go back to the world where I belong," I hopelessly replied to her. When will this nightmare end?

"I don't understand you, Gigi. What do you mean?" Cindy asked with her forehead furrows. It seems that she has already forgotten about the real world that I have told her before.

"Have you forgotten that I once told you I came from a different world? That I came from the real world," I reminded her in case she really forgot what I have told her. "And what I did was to make me return to my world."

Cindy's eyes widened when she finally remember what I told her. "I just temporarily forgot that you're not the Gigi who I served in this world. And I still couldn't believe that there is another world aside from this world and that world was the real world.  I also couldn't believe that we are not real people but only characters inside a story," she answered to me, a sad expression on her face that didn't escape from my eyes. "Anyway, have you figured out how can you be able to go back into your world?"

I quickly shake my head. "I have been racking my brains these past few days but I still couldn't find a solution to my problem and neither found a person who can answer my questions. That's why I let you accompany me to come here because this was the place that my eyes saw when I first came here."

Cindy took a deep sigh. "I'm sorry that I'm not a big help to you, Gigi. Although I want you to go home so that the Gigi I knew would come home too but I don't know how can I help you. I am just an ordinary and lowly person in this world."

"I understand you, Cindy. I know that even those powerful and not ordinary werewolves couldn't help my problem too. I think only God could help me," I replied to her after I took a deep sigh.

"What are you going to do now? What is your next step?" Cindy asked me after minutes of silence.

"What else can I do? I have no choice but to live in this world until I met someone who could help me," I answered her. "Let's go home now, Cindy. I want to rest in my room."

She just nodded at me. We began to walk back to our house with my shoulders down. I just hope that God would send someone to help me as soon as possible.

"Gigi!"

We just walked a few steps when I heard a man suddenly call my name. I look around to see that person and then I saw him at my back just a few meters away from me, waving and smiling at me. He was tall with a lean body and has a handsome face. I found his face familiar but I couldn't figure out where and when I saw his face. I just stare at him and didn't wave him back. He looks so happy to see me so I wonder who is he in  Gigi's life. Not me but the Gigi from this world who suddenly disappeared just like thin air when I arrived here. The man runs at me and before I knew it he already hugs me tightly so that I almost couldn't breathe.

"Wait. Please, let go of me. I couldn't breathe anymore," I complained to him and then I push him strongly to get off me. What's wrong with you, man? Why are you suddenly hugging a woman that doesn't even know you? Are you a prevent?" I asked him the man who looks surprised by what I have said.

"Y-You don't know me? What do you mean by that, Gigi? Have you already forgotten about me because my younger brother saved your life from danger?" the man asked me angrily. I can see jealousy in his eyes.

Younger brother? So this man who just hugged me without my permission was Phil's older brother? So he was a werewolf too? I silently asked Cindy through my eyes. Cindy immediately nodded her head. I couldn't help but roll my eyes when she confirmed my thought.

"Cindy, kindly tell this man that I don't remember him anymore," I asked my attendant and slashed my friend to convey a message from me to Phil's older brother. Knowing a rude and ruthless werewolf like Phil is already enough for me so I don't want to have a connection with the werewolf prince in front of me whoever he is.

"I'm sorry, Prince Percy. But Gigi doesn't remember you anymore because of an accident. She accidentally fall from a bridge when she tried to help a kitten that almost fall in the water. When she wakes up she becomes like that. She doesn't remember anything. She couldn't recognize even her family," Cindy's lengthy explanation to Prince Percy. I secretly applauded her because of her great acting. She doesn't look like she's lying. Her voice and expression were great so anyone will be fooled even the prince in front of us.

"What? Why is it that I don't know she had an accident? Why no one told me about it?"  Percy asked angrily. He tried to hug me again but I successfully avoided him.

"Haven't you heard of what Cindy told you? I don't know you because of an accident so please stay away from me until my memories came back. Because at this time I don't want to talk to someone I don't even remember," I frankly told him. Percy's face becomes dark as he clenched his fist. I think this werewolf is more dangerous than Phil. I can feel his killing aura unlike Phil, I only felt his rudeness and arrogance though I have witnessed him kill someone. I must avoid Prince Percy to avoid big trouble in the future.

"No, Gigi. I don't care if you don't remember me now because I know that you will in the future. You are my lover so I will stay beside you whether you like it or not," Prince Percy strongly insists. And before I could avoid him again he quickly pulled my arm and hug me tightly again.

I was about to push him but I was taken aback by what he said and becomes a stump. He and I were lovers? Oh, heck! I am in a relationship with a werewolf?

"What a nice scene to watch," a voice suddenly spoke behind us. The voice that I never wanted to hear again.
