Larson's POV

"Where the hell are you, Larson!" Kyle yelled through our pack's mind-link.

"Somewhere," I answered, then looked around and laughed at myself.

When I told Tamara to meet me at the pack's border in thirty minutes, I didn't mean it.

When I left the kitchen, I decided to go to the border right then and wait for her. I couldn't stop myself or wait any longer.

"What do you mean 'somewhere' when I told you that you have a minute to meet me in your room? Seriously, where the hell are you?" he asked.

"I'm at the pack's border," I answered honestly.

"Why?" he asked loudly.

"When I went to meet Tamara in the kitchen, I asked her to meet me there in thirty minutes for us to talk," I explained.

"Thirty minutes, you say, yet you couldn't even spare me five minutes," he pointed out.

"I know, Kyle, I am very sorry. It's just that I couldn't stop myself from feeling anxious. I wanted to be here and wait for her," I replied seriously.

He sighed heavily and then kept quiet.
