Angelina's POV:

I knocked on Ian's door and patiently waited for his response.

"Angelina, come in," he answered loudly.

I opened the door and hesitantly walked in.

He sat behind his desk, looking at his laptop.

"Morning, uncle," I greeted as I closed the door behind me.

"Morning, dear. Do take a seat," he responded, then closed his laptop.

I moved to the couch and sat down, facing him.

After my mother had told me everything and what was going on, I couldn't believe it. But then again, she could never joke or lie about something like that.

Now everything became clear to me. I finally knew the reason why I was ordered to return to the pack without an actual explanation.

"Uncle, I heard what is going on from my mother, but just to confirm, are you truly going to ambush the coven?" I asked.

"Of course, that's why you were asked to return back home. If anything goes wrong on that side, we will have to find a healer ready in our pack," he answered.
