Amelia's p.o.v

I was nervously standing in my bedroom waiting for Ian to come back with news from the pack clinic.

After that conversation we all had about Lexi, I went to do a blood test at the pack clinic and a few days went by easily.

Yesterday when the doctor asked me to come over with him to see the results I pretended to be tired. Ian being the understanding mate that he is let me be.

I would have done the same today but Ian wasn't going to take it. He decided to go for the both of us and that came as a relief at the same time it scared me.

I quickly turned and looked at the door when it opened and he walked with a sealed envelope in his hand.

He had a calm expression on his face but also looked very tired while I was silently panicking.

"Keep calm." Aurora growled at me.

"What did she say?" I quickly asked, ignoring her.

"A few things about your health." He answered, then looked at the envelope with a cold expression.

"Also this is for you." He said seriously.
