CHAPTER FIFTY EIGHT

Aurora's POV.

As predicted, Carter had already packed all what he needed into his black backpack.

I had struggled to get hold of a few of the herbs. It was a dry season and I'm lucky that I got to find a few of the green herbs. Since during times like this only the stronger grass survived.

I picked a few of the fresh ones and returned with it to the house. He was not even in the room when I returned.

That was good since it was easier for me to sneak them into his bag without him noticing.

I opened the door and peered my head outside the room, to make sure he was not around somewhere or probably coming back from where he had gone.

Seeing that everywhere was clear, I tiptoed towards his back that was on the sofa. I sat down next to it, opening the smaller zip outside, I pushed the freshly cut herbs inside and gently zipped it.

I couldn't put it in the bigger section because I know he will often use that side. So it was better to be safe.
