Carter's POV.

"Where have you been?, I have been searching for you, all day long". I asked Aurora, as I dragged her to the room. I have been worried al day about her , while she was somewhere else, doing what I don't know.

"Come on, Carter. Will you just stop pulling me like that". She said in a pleading voice. I was not even having all my force on her, and she was complaining.

"Answer the damn question, woman!" I said, the moment I pushed the door opened and she got inside.

I let go of her hand and we were now standing in the room, facing each other. She had her hands folded across her chest while I had mine in the pockets of my trousers.

"I'm from my mother's place okay. I didn't go out to have some fun walk, even though, I need that too."

She made her way to the sofa while I just stood there and watched her every move.

"I see that even after I have told you not to leave the house, you still did. You were supposed to lying here in bed and not walking around."
