"If your Beta hasn't told me of the whole mess you are in, I wouldn't have known,'' he said in anger.

It was so shameful for my dad to be acting like my saviour. He didn't know how much I wanted Alpha Gary to see me as someone capable but everytime my father always butt in.

"Dad, I know you are worried but then I am man enough to settle things myself. This is one of the reasons I didn't tell you," I said bluntly. The feeling that my father interrupted my plan was real.
