CHAPTER 87 (GREATER DANGER)

XAVIER'S POV

It was three days already and the reports on Anna's condition were getting worse than better.

She still looked so healthy as she slept even though she looked as pale as a ghost but we could all perceive the death that hid from our eyes with our noses.

The smell which would have been undetectable to the human nose was so pungent to our noses.

The smell of Anna's decaying wounds were so bad that I noticed the maids were trying their best to keep their face straight when inside the room. They had even resorted to shifts in order to escape the small decaying flesh that seemed to engulf the entire room.

The only person who seemed not to be affected by the smell was me because I was always by her side.

I had been there when the smell first started permeating the air and I was still by her side only moving thrice a day to relieve my bowels.
