Eros's pov

I raced back, planting my feet on the ground firmly before leaping and slamming my body against the door for the fourth time and it gave way, bringing me down with it and crashing into leaping flames.

Find her! Raphael barked as I drew my shirt over my nose and waved away the smoke with my hand, she's deep inside.

I followed his direction trying to navigate my way through the smoke and fire.

The atmosphere smelled bad, it was nauseating but I needed to find my mate and not let my weakness affect me.

I could feel the smoke clouding up my lungs and clogging my nostrils as I struggled hard to breathe. My breath intake was tainted and smoke clung to my eyes making it teary and I found it hard to see.

The whole place was in shambles, I barely dodged a beam of fire as it fell almost on top of me. I got on my hands and knees and began to crawl my way through.
