TRISTAN
I was never in support of this show called marriage, in fact everything was arranged by my Grandfather. He sees it as a way of repaying the kindness Mr Lawson did for him years ago and this whole thing irks me. I'm in love with Fiona who has brought nothing but happiness into my life. After my parents died in a ghastly car accident a few years ago I shut myself out from the world. I was left with my Step mom who made things worse for me. Thank God for my Grandfather who has always stood by me and supported me. Apart from my Grandfather, Fiona has been fully active in my life and I love her so much, we were planning on getting married but my Grandfather insisted that I get married to Vanessa. I could remember arguing with him telling him how much I hate the idea of getting married to someone I don't love let alone someone from a family that doesn't have a name. No way! I was never going to do that until he threatened me with something I cherished so much, my inheritance and position as the Alpha king. "What did you say?" I asked in utter bewilderment. "Yes, you heard me right. I will seize your inheritance and make your step brother take your place as the Alpha king if you refuse to get married to Mr Lawson's daughter" He blurted out carelessly. I was shocked, I never expected him to go that far, I'm twenty five years old and I'm old enough to make decisions for myself. I agreed because I had another plan. I was going to divorce her and get married to Fiona immediately. He handed my inheritance over to me. I talked to Fiona about it and she agreed to wait for me. I stared at the petite and beautiful lady standing close to me smiling innocently, she doesn't know what she was getting into, I caught her stealing glances at me several times, her eyes were so beautiful and it holds a lot of emotions, one can easily tell what she was feeling from her eyes. I could remember how she groped my robe the moment my lips pressed against her soft and plump lips, she acted like it was her first kiss. I know that she was putting up an act just to convince and get everyone to like her. That can't be me, I will never fall for her acts. I know women like her, they get married to wealthy men just because of their money, They are gold diggers. I was busy with the guests when I saw Her arguing with Fiona and that angered me. I quickly excused myself and went to them. I can't let anyone treat her badly. "What's going on here?" I asked immediately as I approached them. "She's mocking me, Babe" Fiona complained to me, she was so sad and that made me furious. I quickly dragged Vanessa to the bathroom and leaned her against the wall while holding her hand tightly. "Listen to me carefully, I want you to treat Fiona with respect, she's meant to be the one in this dress and not you! You will face my wrath if you ever disrespect her again!" My voice thundered and she nodded her head positively while staring at me, she acted like she was scared but I don't give a Fuck about how she feels. I finally let go of her and walked away. "Wait for me, Babe. I promise to fix everything and come back to you" I assured Fiona and we shared a hug. The wedding is over and the guest has finally left the palace. We all live together and that was because of my Grandfather. He insisted we should all live under the same roof as a family despite knowing how much we despise each other, it's a miracle that we haven't burned down the Palace. My Dad got married to my Mom and after having me, my mom died in a car accident while taking me to the park to play. It was a miracle that I survived but that incident never left me till this day. That made my father take a second wife, Bianca, who tried to make my childhood miserable. She gave birth to Carl and Carolyn the twins after my Dad married her. Few years later, my Dad also died in a car accident which I think serves him right and since then my Grandfather has been so protective of us, especially me. The world sees us as a beautiful and peaceful family because of the way we comfort ourselves outside the house. We try to look like the perfect family when we are outside but when we are at home, the story is always different. My step mom and Carl were my enemies and we never wanted to set our eyes on each other. She wants her son to be the heir of the .... family and take everything my Grandfather has. It was war and we have been competing with each other since we were kids. He's studying in another country far away from ours and I was excited about that because I was five seconds away from ending his life the last time I set my eyes on him. I was in the sitting room with Vanessa and we didn't utter a word to each other. I picked up the magazine close to me and kept myself busy with it. I can't believe the fact that I'm officially married. The maids came to the sitting room to officially welcome the Queen into the palace. "Get me a glass of water" I commanded one of the maids and handed my crown to her. I left the sitting room without taking Vanessa with me, I don't care whether she comes in or not. My Grandfather sent it to me and soon we were sitting in his room while he lectured me about marriage. It was a very boring lecture and I had to pretend to listen in order not to annoy him. After the lecture I headed straight to my room which has now turned into Vanessa's room. The thought of that irritated me and I swore never to have anything to do with her sexually. I opened the door and saw her coming out of the bathroom while a white towel was tied around her chest. Her body was wet and so was her long hair. She was about to come out of the bathroom when her towel got stuck by the door. She tried to pull it and her towel fell down to the floor and she was standing naked in front of me.VALERIE I got into the beautiful sitting room which was screaming of richness, luxury and wealth. I was scanning the house curiously and it didn't take me time to notice the guards who were mounted at the corners of the house and each of them wore a hard face. One of the maids led me to a large room which happens to be the master's bedroom. I became nervous the moment I realized that I would be sharing a room with Alpha Tristan."The bath is ready and everything you will need has been taken care of by Alpha Tristan" The servant said to me and I feigned a smile. I decided to take my bath so that I can be dressed up before Alpha Tristan comes in, I can't let anything happen between us, not this night. I sat in the bathtub covered in bubbles and foam and the only thing I could think of was my life and how miserable it has been. From being dumped by my boyfriend of Three years on our anniversary to getting married to someone who despises me and chooses his lover over me. The fact t
Valarie I almost choked on my food and Alpha Tristan handed me a glass of water, I wasn't expecting his Grandfather to say that."We just got married, give us time " He uttered."There's no time young man, I'm no longer young and I need to see my grandchildren before anytime happens to me " Alpha Theo replied before leaving the dining.I finished my food and Laura decided to take me on a tour around the house as she was instructed. I think he needs some time to adjust to the changes" Laura said to me smiling."What's he like?" I asked."He's cold and icy on the outside but he has a good heart" She replied and I scoffed."How did you know that?" "He saved me from the hands of some bad men and brought me here, he gave me a home and a job" She replied and I was flabbergasted."I think he's still healing from his past traumas" she said and I had no choice than to agree with her.I went to the library to read some books in order to relax, Tristan was no where to be found and Laura was
ValarieThe garden was my haven, the only place where I could breathe freely, away from the imposing palace walls and the stifling weight of my charade. I wandered past the rows of roses, their vibrant petals a stark contrast to the thorny reality of my life. My phone felt like a lifeline in my trembling hand, a thin thread tying me to the person I used to be.I dialed my mother’s number, pressing the phone close to my ear, hoping she would pick up quickly. The line clicked, and her voice came through, calm but distant.“How is Vanessa?” I asked, not bothering with pleasantries. It wasn’t like she cared about anything else.“She’s still weak,” Mom replied, her tone clinical, devoid of warmth. “The Doctor says she’ll recover, but it’ll take time. She’s lucky to be alive, Valarie.”Hearing her call me by my real name over the phone was both comforting and unnerving. Here, in the palace, I was Vanessa, my sister, the rightful bride. FionaThe palace gates loomed before me as I stepped from my carriage, my heels clicking against the stone path. It had been months since I was last allowed within these walls, and now that I was here, I couldn’t shake the bitter taste in my mouth. This was supposed to be my home.Every detail reminded me of what I’d lost, what had been stolen from me. The grandeur of the palace, the gold-trimmed arches, the lush gardens I once walked hand-in-hand with Tristan through, all of it was now hers.I knew I shouldn’t have come. The invite was a mockery, a way for the Alpha King to flaunt his new queen in front of me. But I had to see it for myself. To remind myself why I couldn’t let this stand. As I walked through the garden, I spotted her. She was sitting on a marble bench under the wisteria, the sunlight catching the golden crown on her head. She was talking on the phone, her voice hushed. I stopped in my tracks, stepping behind a hedge to avoid being seen.“Vanessa will recover soon, ri
ValarieThe sound of distant chatter filled the palace as I stared at my reflection in the ornate mirror. My hair was styled into cascading waves, a glittering tiara nestled perfectly atop my head. My dress, a masterpiece of flowing silk and intricate beadwork....fit me like a second skin, shimmering with every movement. I hardly recognized myself.“A vision,” the maid whispered, stepping back to admire her work.I gave her a small smile. I looked every inch the queen the people adored, but inside, I felt like an imposter. Vanessa should be here, not me. I swallowed the thought quickly. It wouldn’t do to dwell on what couldn’t be changed. Not now.Today was an important day, a day for appearances. Alpha Tristan had made that painfully clear.I turned to leave, the heavy fabric of my gown brushing against the marble floors as I made my way to the grand hall. Outside, the festivities were already underway. The bouquet presentation was one of the most beloved traditions of the wolf clan,
Tristan The celebration was loud, vibrant, and filled with the infectious energy of the wolf clan. The Festival of the Moon was one of our most important traditions, and it symbolized unity, loyalty, and honor, three things I hardly cared about tonight. This entire charade, this picture-perfect image of a devoted Alpha and his Luna, was nothing more than a means to an end.My grandfather, Alpha Theo, held the keys to my future, the full inheritance of the wolf clan But for him to hand it over, I had to prove I was responsible enough to lead not only as a warrior but as a family man. That meant playing the role of a dutiful husband to Vanessa.Vanessa. No...her.It didn’t matter to me. From the moment this marriage was arranged, I made it clear to Vanessa that I had no love for her. My heart belonged to Fiona, and it always would. I couldn’t be bothered with her feelings; my focus was on convincing my grandfather. Once the inheritance was mine, I would end this farce of a marriage and
Valarie I stood there, rooted to the spot, watching Alpha Tristan rush out of the room after Fiona without so much as a glance back at me. My heart clenched painfully in my chest.I hadn’t asked for this, any of this.I hadn’t asked to take my sister’s place in this marriage, to play the role of a dutiful wife to a man who clearly despised me, or to live in a palace where every glance and whisper carried suspicion. And now, after that humiliating moment, I was left standing alone in the dimly lit room, the echo of Tristan’s footsteps fading down the hall as he chased after the woman he truly loved.I wrapped my arms around myself, the silk of my dress cool against my skin, and tried to steady my breathing. My cheeks still burned from the kiss....his kiss. It had been unexpected, intense, and for a fleeting moment, it had felt real. But it wasn’t.I clenched my fists, my nails biting into my palms. He hadn’t kissed me because he wanted to. He’d kissed me because he thought I was Fiona
Alpha TristanI stormed down the hallway, my boots echoing against the cold stone floor as I chased after Fiona. My heart pounded furiously, not from the exertion, but from the chaos of emotions swirling within me.The kiss had been a mistake. A momentary lapse in judgment. I’d thought she was Fiona, and for a brief, maddening second, I’d been consumed by the memory of what we used to have. But when I realized it was Vanessa standing in my arms, everything had spiraled out of control.I hadn’t even paused to explain myself to Vanessa. What was there to explain? That I didn’t want her? That the very sight of her reminded me of the burdens I’d been forced to carry since we were married? No. She already knew where my heart lay. She’d accepted this arrangement, just as I had, and we both knew it wasn’t for love. But Fiona...I quickened my pace, my breath coming in shallow bursts as I reached the palace gardens. The night was cool, the scent of jasmine heavy in the air, but it did little
Valarie As the door closed behind Tristan, the silence in the room felt deafening. I stood there by the window, staring out at the moonlit gardens, my heart pounding in my chest. The conversation replayed in my mind, his words cutting deeper than I wanted to admit.I had agreed to this marriage, yes. But I hadn’t agreed to be humiliated, to be treated like I was invisible, like I didn’t matter.Wiping the tears from my cheeks, I took a deep breath and straightened my spine. I couldn’t let this break me. Not now. Not when so much was at stake. If Tristan wanted to treat me like a pawn in his game, so be it. But I wasn’t going to just stand by and let him ruin me. I had to protect myself, and more importantly, I had to protect my sister’s secret.I turned away from the window and walked to the vanity, my reflection staring back at me. The royal gown I wore was flawless, every intricate detail carefully designed to make me look like the queen the people thought I was. My dark hair fell
Alpha Tristan The walk back to the palace was longer than it should have been. Each step felt heavier than the last, the cool night air doing little to clear the turmoil in my mind. Fiona’s words still echoed in my head, sharper than any blade: “I saw the way you looked at her.”It was absurd. Ridiculous. She was wrong. But was she?I shook the thought away, straightening my shoulders as the towering palace loomed before me. The grand doors stood open, spilling golden light onto the stone steps. The sounds of the festival had quieted, the night now carrying only the distant hum of laughter and music from the square. As I stepped inside, the air was thick with the scent of lavender and the faint aroma of wine. The grand hall was empty, save for a few servants scurrying about, clearing away the remnants of the feast. They bowed their heads as I passed, murmuring respectful greetings.“Where is she?” I asked one of the maids, my voice curt. The young woman startled, clutching the tray o
