CHAPTER 60

YARA’S POV

It had been five days since the incident between me and Alpha Denver and we hadn't said a word to each other.

For the first two days, I enjoyed it. I was glad I had him off my back and because there was no way anyone would know we kissed. But then I couldn't help the flashbacks, the constant remembrance of his tongue glided over mine while he kissed me like he had hungered for me for a long time.

It made my stomach churn, it made me have unexplainable feelings in my chest too, and then the involuntary toe curls that my feet always did when I remembered them.

It was like my body missed him and wanted him too badly but my head was refusing to accept it so now, I was in a war with my body over him and it just made me hate myself.

That evening, I had sat in a corner of my bed and I curled myself up against the wall while staring into space with my mind in shambles.
