CHAPTER 45

Adrienne's heart was overwhelmed by the brevity of one week to fully love Pedro. Seven days were simply too short to create the memories she longed to carry with her when she eventually left.

Her emotions weighed heavily on her, causing great pain due to the extreme loneliness she felt. It was already Sunday morning, but Adrienne still couldn't sleep throughout the night, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of her imminent departure.
