Since the incident in the woods, Ivan had been recuperating in his pack. He kept wondering about the attack by the white wolf.

At first when he saw the wolf, he never had the mind to fight it but wanted to make it shift into its human form so they could have a good talk, but then the white wolf destroyed his plans and killed his snipers.

That angered him into fighting it. At the cross-battle between them, he discovered the white wolf was a female, which was more so confusing.

He wondered who this white wolf was and why she was protecting his mate's pack and the Lycan king. This made him realise that the wolf might be connected to them, but still, he was lost as to the real identity of the white wolf.
