ALPHA BLAKE

Ever since he perceived the rogue scent on his daughter Vega, he had been suspicious of her.

He knew his daughter well enough. He knew she lied about just going for a run. There was a lot more than that, and he would find out soon.

In times like this, he missed Lana, his mate, she was a good Luna and the best mother to her kids.

It's so unfortunate that she had to sacrifice her life for Vega. Ever since Victoria and Vega were born, Vega has always been weak.

Lana was a powerful witch and so she discovered her daughter Vega wouldn't have a long life because she was born without a wolf. Lana could not watch her daughter die and so she fed Vega with her powers. There were consequences for Lana's action and it was the fact that her powers would deteriorate whenever she fed them to Vega.

Alpha Blake tried to stop Lana from doing what she was doing, knowing her life would be shortened, but she refused. She said she could never watch any of her daughters die before her very own eyes, especially when she had the powers to save them.

She was determined to sacrifice her life so Vega could live for a very long time.

Truthfully, Lana loved her two daughters equally, but she paid more attention to Vega because she was the weak one.

When Alpha Blake saw how dedicated Lana was to Vega, he decided to pay more attention to Victoria so she wouldn't feel left out.

After the death of his wife, Alpha Blake developed both a love and hate feeling for his daughter Vega. He loved her because she was his flesh and blood but he couldn't help being displeased with her sometimes for she was the reason his mate died early.

He had promised Lana to never let any of their daughters find out about the truth and so he had kept this secret to himself all these years.

He knew Vega's wolf was a rare one and she hid it from everyone. It was better no one found out about her identity because her identity would only bring chaos and disaster to the werewolf world...

...........................

"There's something you need to see Alpha Blake." Beta Raymond walked in on his Alpha looking very disturbed.

Alpha Blake gritted his teeth knowing full well something was wrong, he could sense it already.

They both shifted to their wolves and raced down the pack's boundary.

Alpha Blake eye-scanned his environment before setting his paws outside his boundary with Raymond behind him.

They walked just a few steps and the stench of dead rogues hit their nostrils.

"What the hell happened here?" He asked his beta through mind link but Raymond was as confused as he was.

"Whoever did this must be very powerful," Raymond said.

They went back to their pack and shifted to their human forms.

"Who do you think must have done this Alpha?" Alpha Blake clenched his fists in pure anger. He knew just who might be responsible for this.

"Raymond, keep what we found outside the boundary a secret, no one must find out about this, absolutely no one. Do you understand?"

Raymond nodded in absolute response. They both knew this was trouble.

Rogue attacks were something they had never experienced since the agreement they had with the rogue Alpha Griffin.

But now that two rogues have been found dead not far from their pack, it was clear a member of the White Snow Pack did it and Alpha Blake just might know who was responsible for it.

He marched into the house but found out Vega and Victoria already went to school.

He knew it! Last night he perceived the ominous rogue scent on his daughter Vega. He knew she had a powerful wolf but never in his wildest dreams would he have imagined Vega could kill anyone.

Has he underestimated his daughter's power? Alpha Blake paced back and forth in his study room.

He knew what would happen if anyone found out about this. His Pack would be at stake, and even his daughter Vega would be in deep trouble...

Later in the evening, Vega came back home tired as usual. This time she made dinner for everyone in peace because Victoria stopped talking to her.

Vega so much enjoyed the silent treatment Victoria was giving her, and she wished it would stay that way for a very long time.

After dinner, Alpha Blake requested Vega's presence in his study room.

Just when she thought she was safe, now she's being summoned.

Vega hardly visited her father's study room because he seldom requested her, unlike Victoria who had constant access to his study.

"Shut the door behind you," came Alpha Blake's deep voice.

Vega felt like melting away from her father's presence, something tells her she's in deep trouble.

Jackie was saying all sorts of things in her head but she just shut them off to the back of her mind.

She stood in front of her father who was sitting on his hair with his gaze penetrating deep into her soul.

Vega's heart began to beat faster in her chest out of fear.

"Are you ready to tell the truth now?" She could tell her father was very angry at her right now. There's no reason to hide anymore because she knew he must have found out.

"I only killed them to defend myself," Vega said in a whisper with her head hung low.

Alpha Blake's stern face softened a little. He never knew she would come out so plain. He couldn't deny the fact that he was quite pleased knowing his daughter at nineteen could defend herself.

If only Vega could see her father's face right now, she would understand that he was proud of her at this moment, but she was just too afraid to meet his eyes.

"Do you know what you have done?" He changed his tone. His daughter must have done the right thing in defending herself but she never thought about the consequences of her actions and that annoyed him.

"I know... I should never have killed them." Vega's tears ran down her cheeks.

"Have I endangered our pack?" She raised her head to look at her father whose face was expressionless.

"I don't know if we are in danger yet, but I know this is not the end."

"I am so sorry father, this is all my fault. I will fix this."

Alpha Blake let out a sigh. "And how do you intend to fix it? You are right when you say it is your fault but you can't fix anything as it is now."

Vega cried even more, she regretted ever going into the woods that night, and she regretted not watching where she was going.

"Go back to your room and for goddess' sake! Don't cause any more troubles for me."

Vega ran out of her father's study only to bump into Victoria who had been eavesdropping by the door.

She ran past Victoria who smirked at her. She got into her room and shut the door behind her.

Vega lay on her bed and cried herself to stupor and her tears blinded her vision.

Vega wasn't crying for the rogues she killed, she was crying because her father was disappointed in her.

She wished she had let the rogues kidnap her that way her father wouldn't have to be disappointed in her.

Maybe it would be better to be bullied and hated by a stranger than by your own pack members and family.

Victoria walked into Vega's room.

"So you're now a rogue killer? Wow... my sister is so tough."

Vega thought she bolted the door behind her but from the look of things she didn't.

"Why are you crying? I mean shouldn't you be happy you killed a rogue?" Victoria stood in front of Vega who lay on her bed with her arms underneath her head. Victoria smiled like a sick maniac. This was what she always wanted and that was to make their father disappointed in her.

"Leave me alone Victoria! You've won. Are you happy now?" Vega was in pure rage. It was bad enough that her father is disgusted with her; now Victoria is only making it worse by adding salt to her injury.

"Oh baby sister, you don't know how delighted I am right now. I'm so very excited you are beginning to show your true colours."

"Get out of my room!" Vega screamed in anger. Victoria smirked in a wicked way.

"I will leave but let me tell you this: when the rogue Alpha comes looking for the killer of his rogues, I swear to the moon goddess I will sell you out!"

Victoria left her sister's room in rage shutting the door forcefully behind her.

"Don't worry Vega, we will be okay, I promise." Jackie consoled Vega.

"You should have let me claw at her face. I so badly want to destroy that face of hers."

"We can't do that Jackie, she's still my sister no matter what. I am sure she will come around someday."

No matter what happened, Vega still loved her sister very much.

VEGA It's been a week since the incident with the rogues and fortunately for me, the rogue Alpha never came looking for those rogues. The rogues must have been of no importance to the rogue Alpha, I guess. My life still wasn't an easy one because Victoria and her group never stopped calling me a pretender and a murderer. If only they had been in my shoes that day, I was sure they would have been successfully kidnapped. I came home very exhausted, but to my greatest surprise, everyone in the pack house was busy. The flowers in the garden were being trimmed, and Aunt Penelope and the other women were cleaning up the house. I wondered what the occasion was that warranted such preparations. Since I was born, this was the first time I've seen everyone making themselves useful around the pack house. I had to ask someone about what's going on. Suddenly, I saw Mike carrying some boxes into the house. Mike is my uncle, and he happens to be the one who always listen

VEGA She opened the door to her room to peep outside to see what was going on around the house, but all she saw were busy pack workers in a haste to entertain the guests. Her sister must be trying her hardest to please this Lycan Alpha King. Just as she was about to go out due to Jackie's restlessness, she saw Victoria with her friends, they were trying to fix her makeup so she would be looking beautiful in front of the guests as she had said. VEGA "Can you please tell me who this Lycan king is?" Her father did not reply to her, but rather continued with what he was doing. Vega knew things wouldn't go as she planned, if her father was this quiet, then it only meant there was something fishy going on. "You knew that what happened to me was related to my sister's new-found mate, right?" This question seemed to have worked as her father raised his head to face her. She could tell from his expression that he wasn't expecting such a question from her. "Why don't you go get some rest?" "Rest?" How could her father treat her this way? when he knows fully what she was talking about? "I can't rest, father, please tell me Victoria isn't getting married to my mate!?" He froze, and the look in his eyes made her realise that she had been right all along. Uncontrollable tears flowed freely from her eyes at this knowledge. This was heart-wrenching, it was bad enough that he preferred he

REYNOLD After getting the much-needed information about the white snow Alpha and his pack, Reynold decided to set out with his men. Arriving at white snow pack with his beta and some of his followers, he felt different the moment he got into the pack house. His wolf had gone crazily excited for reasons he couldn't tell. He was warmly welcomed by the Alpha and his pack members. They didn't waste time getting into business the moment he came. Fortunately, Alpha Blake had promised to be of help to him in searching for those unknown assassins. Reynold appreciated the help Alpha Blake was willing to give him—not that he trusts him to the maximum, but for the reason that his investigations about him came out positive, he decided to give him the benefit of the doubt by trusting his help. They were each given an executive guest room, which they resided in for the time being since the pack house was impressively gigantic and spacious inside. Later that

VEGA "You will know when you meet him." Her father said, making his face expressionless. She wished she could ask more questions. Was she in trouble? Could it be that he had actually seen her? For goddess' sake, can she stop putting herself and her pack in trouble? "Don't forget to act natural, Vega; I believe you know what I mean." This made her a little confused, if she was in trouble, her father sure wouldn't say that to her. Immediately she ran back into her room, she showered as quickly as she could, not wanting to delay him. As she was thinking of what to wear, she couldn't help but wonder for what reason the Lycan king requested her presence. She thought of what to wear; she initially picked up a blue flowery gown but immediately dropped it back down when she realised she had no reason to look good in front of him since he'd already mated to her sister. She had to understand that there's nothing between them anymore, even though it still

VEGA Vega concluded that leaving home was the best option for her. She packed up a few of her belongings and left the pack in the middle of the night. FIVE YEARS LATER The alarm on the table clock buzzed at 6 a.m., and a sleepy Vega lazily stretched forth her hands to put it off so she could get a good sleep. It worked the first time, since she slept for another hour. The alarm buzzed again, and this time, in trying to put it off, she fell with a thud, carrying the bed cover with her. "Ouch!..." Vega immediately stood up from the floor, rubbing her back, which hit the cold hard floor. Suddenly, she heard a knock on her room door. "Vega, are you okay?" Came Sandy's voice. "May I come in?" "Yes, you can." Vega muffled, still feeling the impact from the fall. She only just realised it was morning when she picked up the alarm clock. Just as she stared at the clock in shock, Sandy came in. "Oh my... you are late again..." San

She thought she had escaped from her past but she was wrong; her past had suddenly started hunting her. "What's wrong, Vega? You are scaring me." She tried to compose herself, but her hands wouldn't stop shaking. "I'm fine." She managed to say as she wiped off the sweat on her forehead. "Why do you want to go there?" The rest of the rogues would go rescue the other soldiers in Red Moon pack, while he would march to the King's mansion with his soldiers. They would kill each and every one of the king's followers. He would, then, fight the king in one-on-one combat. While his snipers will make a direct hit on him while they are fighting. Ivan smirked at his final plans with those who had pledged their allegiance to him. Finally, he's going to take charge of the war, and taking the throne is no longer far-fetched. While in deep thought, Michael sneaked at night since all operations would be carried out at night. "It is time, Alpha Ivan." Michael said in a whisper before opening the gates to the dungeon. Ivan immediately hurried out from the gates, and Michael led him outs

When he began walking close to her bed, her heart began to beat erratically. Not that she knew what he was about to do next, but she felt like she knew what was going to happen next. Reynold seemed to be staring at her in his long pause and silence. She began to wonder what he was thinking about at that very moment—if only she were that open-minded with him to ask. Suddenly, she could feel his face to hers even though her eyes were closed because she could feel his breath fanning her nostrils. His minty breath suddenly intoxicated her, and she felt like she needed more from where it came from. She began anticipating his touch, and just as she wished, he grazed her lips with his, which almost made her moan. This was something she had been anticipating for days now, and finally he touched hers at last.

He felt her actual need every night he lay on his bed, wondering why she was in the next room. He listens to her very heartbeat and her state of mind. The reason he didn't bother to be with her yet was because he wanted her to accept him of her own free will. But he noticed that the more he delayed and waited, the more obvious the possibility became that she would never ask for his attention or accept him anytime soon. Reynold stared at his gold wristwatch, which was perfectly tied around his wrist. The time was now 4 p.m. already, and this meant that he had to be on his way home soon. While he was in the office getting things done, his beta walked into the office. "Stanley, perfect!" Reynold immediately left his desk and directed his beta to take a s

Michael said in a whisper as he took him out of the dungeons late at night. When they finally arrived outside, Ivan thanked Michael for helping him out of the dungeon. Up ahead of them was Ethan, who waited for him in his car. Ivan began walking briskly, and even though the coast was clear in the area at that particular time, he could not help feeling extremely nervous and wary because no one knows the ways and manner in which the Lycan king operates. He walked briskly until he arrived at the hideout, where his brother was patiently waiting for him. The moment his brother saw him, he quickly opened the door to the front seat. It was only after Ivan was brought into the dungeons that he saw Michael, who worked as a guard in the cell. But knowing how much he'd hurt her made Vega mad, and now that he's holding her in his tight embrace, she's totally become helpless. It was hard to wriggle herself free from him, not because she could but because she was too lazy to. She took a glance at Edward, who was still in the room, mixing a serum. She could see him stealing glances at them with a broad smile on his face. For how long Reynold held her, she could not tell because she slept off in his arms. When she finally opened her eyes, she was surprised to find herself in his room. At that moment, so many things came to mind, but at the same time, she was speechless about what she wanted to say. REYNOLD Seeing how scared she was, he felt as if her fear was eating the life out of him. Sensing her fear only made him feel like the greatest monster, Alice. That was the bitter truth: he was a monster because he did to her only what monsters do. He did not deserve anything. Ever since he found out about her pregnancy, he's been asking the moon goddess why she had to give him such a gift, which he did not deserve. He certainly did not deserve her love and care. Those times he had been in a coma and she had been working tirelessly just so his company wouldn't get into the enemy's hands, he felt like ripping out his heart and feeding it to the beast. Just for this reason, he's been avoiding her, too ashamed and guilty to show himself in front of her. So, what he did was go over to her house and watch her sleep every night. VEGA "Hello, Your Luna Highness, do you wish to see your sister?" "Yes please," she replied with a smile on her, to the head officer with black curly hair. 'This way, please, Your Highness." Just as she was about to go in, she discovered that Gamma Rivers was tagging along. "Uhm, Gamma Rivers, I know you are trying to do your job, but I would like to talk to my sister alone, please." "Very well, Your Highness. I will be outside waiting for you." Rivers politely said to Vega. He stepped backward, so she could go alone. Vega, with the officer in front leading her, got into the section of the cell where Victoria was. The moment she got to the entrance of the cell, Victoria immediately strode to the gate of her cell, made with iron rods of equal size. "So you are finally here, prodigal sister." Vega closed her eyes; actually, she was expecting this. "Stop Victoria, I'm here to see you as a sister, not an enemy."
