"Cia..."
He heard her soft and gentle voice telling him while she gazed at him with her wide blue orbs.
"Isn't it beautiful?" she asked, batting her long lashes at him. His jaw tightened at her words.
"Everyone tells me my name is just as beautiful as me," she informed him, happily, making him growled. His nostrils flared. He was a second away from choking her for running her mouth so much.
"Boss, let me handle her please," Violet jumped into the matter, understanding the situation that now that little naive girl was testing his patience.
He gawked into her innocuous azure eyes which were still staring at him confused but not afraid. She was not looking afraid of him, even after he was so close to her, instead she was staring at him curiously. Now what kind of human she was?
He gave her a warning glare before maintaining his stature and then dashing out of that room.
"Why is he making such rude and scary faces like someone has put a cactus in his pants?"
Violet gasped whereas Richard became stunned at her remark on their boss. They both shared a shocking glance with each other before looking at that pouting tiny human who was sitting on the bed and was glaring at the door.
"Girl, keep your mouth shut, if you don't want to die in his hands at this age," Richard warned her but she turned her glare at him.
"And why would that scary pig kill me? I haven't done anything bad to him," she justified herself.
Violet gulped whereas Richard rubbed his palm over his head.
"Violet, control her mouth before he hears her," Richard spat, exasperated and then walked out of the door.
"But I haven't said anything wrong. He does look like a pig when he flares his nostrils so much," she puckered her plump lips.
Violet was bewildered by her comments on him. Almost each and every human who had seen him was terrified of him but at the same time, enthralled by his demeanour and evillishly bewitching presence but there she was...calling him a scary pig. She really wasn't in love with her life or else, her way of looking at people and things were a little different from others.
Exhaling a firm breath, Violet tried to sit beside her and she immediately made a space for her to sit by moving away. Violet saw her smiling at her. She really was an adorable piece of humankind but was present at a most inhuman place or she could say.. closer to the most inhuman presence.
"Cia, now I'll ask you some questions and you're going to answer them to me, honestly. Okay?" Violet said and watched her staring at her for a while before nodding in agreement.
"Okay, so first tell me. Who were those men and why were they running behind you?"
Violet saw an instant fear emerge in her sapphire eyes as soon as she asked her that.
"I don't know those bad people. I...I was sitting on the bench of that park and they came to me and started s.. saying really very bad things to me," her eyes watered whereas her voice started shivering in fear.
"They even tried to t.. touch me when I told them to stay away from me and then I ran away from them because they were looking bad and evil but they followed me and then I bumped into someone's car and I don't remember anything after that," she answered, honestly.
Violet sighed. She didn't even remember that car was his. She had bumped against his car and he had taken her here.
"Did those men harm you in any way?" She questioned, mindful of her words to not make her more afraid. Violet saw her shrugging her head.
"They told me they were going to do so much fun with me tonight and I know they wanted to do that bad thing with me, so I ran away from them as fast as I could," a tear slipped down from her rosy cheeks and Violet didn't know why it affected her. Maybe because she had just seen her beautiful smile until now.
"Hey, it's okay. Those men will get their punishment for trying to hurt you, Cia," Violet tried to assure that poor girl.
She nodded before wiping her tears with the back of her palm.
"Good but now tell me, where is your home and your parents? They must be looking for you,"
Violet saw her turn stiff at her question. She looked at her like a statue before her eyes filled with more tears again.
"I have no home,"
Violet turned startled at the new piece of information.
"And your parents?" She further asked and watched her taking her head down.
"I don't know," she answered, looking down. Violet was stunned at the revelation.
"Then where do you live and with whom?"
Violet saw her start fiddling with her fingers and she answered without taking her head up
"I live in the streets and I have been homeless since the day I started understanding the things and people around me. I have no one,"
Now that was something Violet had never expected. He needed to know about this.
"Cia, don't go out of this room. I will come back soon, okay?"
She gazed at Violet, cluelessly before nodding and saw Violet leaving that room.
As soon as she saw Violet completely vanishing from her eyesight. She took her head up and looked at the ceiling above her. She clutched both of her ears with her palms.
"Sorry, meemee for lying," a tear escaped from her eyes as she apologised to her mother. For her it was a harmless little lie but she didn't even have a single clue what her little lie was going to cost her in the coming future.
"Yes, boss. She said she is homeless and has no one. She doesn't know about her parents,"
His stone hard expressions turned more firm at Violet's words.
"I think the girl is harmless, boss," Richard agreed with Violet in front of their boss.
"She looks like a teenager and her behaviour doesn't even look suspicious,"
"Yes, boss. She said, since the day she has started understanding the things around her, she is a homeless and has no one,"
He silently heard their each and every word before snapping his gaze at Violet.
"Take her here,"
Violet gulped at his curt tone and by finding that rapicious expression hovering over his face.
"Now, I will ask some questions to her," his lips twitched into a predatory grin.
Violet nodded and then walked out of that room. He leaned his back against the chair he was sitting and closed his eyes while moving the paperweight on the desk before him with his palm.
Richard gazed at his every action. He was looking more calm than usual which was not a good sign. His calmness was like a calmness before a deadly storm. Hope that storm didn't burst out on that poor harmless girl.
He stopped moving that paperweight when he heard those gentle footsteps getting closer to him. He moved forward his head and then opened his eyes only to meet with those sapphire eyes which were staring at him a little displeased.
She was standing at his door and by staring at her annoyed frown, he had already guessed she was still not afraid of him, instead was displeased with his presence before her.
"Come," Violet told who was holding her arm. She stepped inside the door and Violet walked beside her.
He watched her curious azure eyes scan her entire surrounding before they got fixed at him. Interesting, she found the place more intriguing than him.
He leaned forward and then wandered his gaze all over her body which was covered in a black ankle length jeans and red top and finally stopped at her blue shining crystals on her tiny face.
"What is your name?" He again asked her that question.
She became more annoyed. He had a short term memory loss or what? She had just told him her name.
"My name is Cia,"
His grin stretched into a more vicious smirk.
"What is your name?" He again stated that question to her. Now her annoyance turned into a tiny anger.
"C...I....A.....Cia..." she spelled out her name, making Richard bewildered and Violet gulped at her way of responding.
His expression still remained unchanged at her tone and answer.
"Cia, he is asking about your full name," Violet murmured closer to her ear, before her boss could kill her for annoying him so much.
"Oh..." her angry expression turned into a soft one again, hearing Violet. She looked at that huge size demon before her and answered.
"I don't know my surname," she said, folding her tiny finger secretly. He turned a little more amused at her answer.
"And what is your parents name?" He queried further, still staring at her.
"I don't know," her answer was still the same and her little finger was still folded.
Now he leaned back a little against his chair.
"How old are you?" He uttered, calmly.
"I8,"
Her instant reply and answer widened his smirk.
"And how do you know about your age if you have no one to tell you about this?"
This question of his turned her speechless. He was sure she wouldn't have the answer to his question and then he would surely slit her throat and take out her real identity and truth from her because he was sure she was hiding something.
"Just like I know my name is Cia, I know I am 18 years old because I remember a blurry memory about a woman who used to call me Cia and she had told me I was 7 years old that time and it was almost 12 years ago so according to that calculation I am 18 years old now," she described him.
Her story intrigued him. She was really ready with all her answers.
"And who was that woman and where is she now?"
This time he noticed his question made her eyes turn gloomy and slightly watery.
"She left me alone when I was 7 and she didn't take me with her,"
He peered into her glossy eyes like she was saying those words through her soul.
"And where is she now and what is her name?"
A tear slipped down from her eyes which she immediately wiped and replied.
"I don't remember anything more than my name and age," she answered, looking down.
He stared at her lowered head before uttering.
"And from where did you get these clothes if you're homeless and have no one?"
This time, she took her eyes up and looked at him.
"That granny gave me this to wear today in the morning when I was sitting on that street. She also gave some money,"
He slightly tilted his head and again scanned her attire which was looking clean and new.
"And I hope you remember that woman's name because you were 18 this morning?"
Her gaze turned into a glare at his taunting words. He was just waiting for her to make a single mistake and then he would decide what to do with her
"Yes, her name was Cassie. She took me to her home and gave me her granddaughter's clothes to wear because my previous clothes had turned very dirty and even ripped. She even gave me food to eat,"
He heard her explanation before stretching his head towards Richard's direction who understood his boss's signal and nodded
"Can you tell me that woman's address?" Richard asked her. She bobbed her head and narrated him the direction to that woman's house.
Richard left after that and then she saw him getting up from his chair. He took his long strides towards her, slowly and was about to walk past her but stopped beside her.
"If that woman told even a slightly different story than yours," he paused and tilted his head to look at her where he saw those sapphire eyes already on him.
"This night would be the last night of your life," he rasped in his extremely hoarse voice before walking out from there.
She sighed as soon as he left and closed her eyes. She didn't know what else that night was going to bring to her and for that, she now just had to wait and watch.....
"So, Mrs Cassie Quinn, would you like to tell us if you know this girl or not?"That old woman, Cassie gulped who had been brought here in an unknown place with her husband by those men. Her throat dried up by watching that person sitting in front of her, staring at her with his cavernous brown eyes. The old woman trailed her eyes towards the direction where he was pointing and she saw her standing there."Cia.."His gaze twitched when he heard that old woman taking her name. He lightly tossed her head and saw those sapphire eyes gleaming in happiness as that old woman recognised her."Yes, I met her today. She was sitting on a bench in that park near my house. She was looking very vulnerable, alone and upset and was even crying, so I took her to my home," the woman notified him.He sensed no lie in her story because she was looking confident about it."And did you give her these clothes to wear?"he asked."Yes, they are my granddaughter's clothes. I gave them to her to wear because h
"Are you living with the only purpose of taking my life?" She spat at him, while sitting on the road in front of his car. Her sapphire orbs were angrily glaring at him but his face didn't show any reaction. She scoffed at his blank reaction."Now you have turned deaf along with blind, you scary pig?" She snapped at him without even thinking about getting up from the road for once. His fists balled but his face still remained hard and cold. She furrowed her brows at him and then remembered to get up.She placed her palm on the road and by taking it support, she tried to get up but badly hissed when a burning sensation hitted her elbow. She looked at her elbow and then noticed she had again hurted her same wounded elbow and again because of that same scary person. Her elbow was even bleeding. She snapped her angry eyes at him and saw him staring at her bleeding elbow."If my elbow gets fractured, I will cut both of your arms," she threatened him, darting his attention again on her flus
The guards opened the door of the mansion as they saw the owner of that mansion's car approaching. The car went inside the gate and finally halted in front of the mansion. The guards opened the door of his car and waited for the owner to come out of it but instead of getting out, the deep brown eyes of the owner snapped beside him on the passenger seat where he saw that little sapphire eyes alien peacefully sleeping.During their hour of ride to his mansion, she blasted his head with her uncountable number of questions which he gladly answered none. He even warned her but she was in no mood to get afraid of his warning. It was then she shut her wide mouth when he was about to throw her out of his car, then she accepted the peace treaty and completely went silent and automatically drowned to her sleep. Her dark long lashes were shadowing her slightly flushed cheeks as her eyes were shut and her plumpy crimson lips were parted a bit as she was breathing through it.He got out of his ca
"Cia," Violet said and walked towards her. Those brown orbs scanned her entire face which was gleaming more in the morning, like the first dew of the morning. Her doe azure eyes were twinkling whereas her shiny long blonde hairs were opened and had turned into a slight mess. An adorable yet tempting sight. The heck was wrong with his eyes? From when he started adoring things? He saw her coming towards Violet with her slow steps and then hugged Violet, making everyone confused."Cia...what happened?" Violet asked, gently caressing her head because she had already gotten fond of her innocuousness."My tummy is very hungry," she softly breathed out in her ear, making Violet smile. "Okay, I will get you your breakfast. Don't worry," Violet said. She slightly pulled back and beamed at her."Thank you," Finally her sapphire eyes trailed towards those brown orbs which were already staring at him. Her eyes widened by looking at him which made him untidy until she didn't storm towards him."
"His name is Zale Alcazar,"Her smile completely faded by hearing Violet's answer. Violet saw a displeased look to form on her face."What kind of name is this?" She scrunched her nose in displeasure. Violet chuckled at her reaction."His name is just as scary and rude as him,"Violet laughed and then caressed her head."That's bad, Cia. Calling someone's name bad is very wrong,""But his name is scary just like his face,"she uttered, frowning."Well you're the first person who finds him scary only because most of the people find him handsome and devious," Violet said, making her snap her azure eyes at her."They all must be blind or he might have used makeup at that time," Violet chortled at her words and then got up from the bed."Okay enough with discussing about our boss. Let's go, I will help you in understanding your work," She excitedly got up on her feet, hearing Violet and then clutched her arm."That scary piggy is not my boss," "Well technically he is now because you're
He got up on his feet and clenched his jaw by staring at her sleeping face. The place he had given her to stay wasn't enough, now she needed his room to sleep. Her audacity had finally made him lose his control. He strode towards her side and then grabbed her shoulder but before he would pull her up, he heard her hissing badly. His hold immediately turned gentle by watching her calm face twisting in pain. He looked down at her elbow which was bandaged and he himself didn't know why he didn't want to add more to her pain.He released her shoulder from his grip and she slightly shifted towards his direction, causing her long blonde hair to fall all over face. Her soft snores again started echoing but his eyes got completely stuck at her face which was covered with her hairs. She slightly rubbed her face on the pillows, indicating how her own hairs were disturbing her precious sleep. On its own, his hand decided to get closer to her. He bent his upper body a bit and then pushed her hair
"And what if I just punish you right now here in this same bed in which you dared to sleep, my kitten?" His hoarse warm voice grazed against her ear which caused her ear to tingle. She tilted her head only to find his deep brown orbs extremely closer to her."First of all, I am not a kitten, piggy," she uttered, frowning and he just stared at her adorably cute face."Secondly, you can't punish me because I am not your student," His smirk turned more vicious at her answer."Really?" He breathed out while brushing his thumb over her warm soft cheek. She nodded her head."But you're my maid which means I can punish my maid for her disobedience,"He saw her pouting her lips in annoyance after hearing him. His gaze shifted to her dark pink petals."But I am not disobedient," she defended herself. He chuckled at her answer."Surely, you're not. Sleeping on your boss's bed on the very first day of your work. Yeah…a very obedient maid I have gotten," his remark was filled with sarcasm. She
Next Morning, Violet woke her up early. She took her shower and did her morning routine. Wearing black jeans and a pink shirt, she got out of her room, which Violet had brought for her yesterday."Wow, looking so adorable and beautiful, Cia," A small smile crept on her face by hearing Violet."Thank you, Violee," she answered. Violet noticed that she was looking less enthusiastic like she used to be, so she asked her."Is everything alright, Cia?"She looked at her through her doe blue eyes before again taking her eyes down "Last night, he scolded me and told me to get out of his room,"she softly breathed out.Her statement widened Violet's eyes."What? But what were you doing in his room?""I was cleaning his room and then mistakenly slept on his bed while making it," Violet's eyes turned more big at that revelation."You were sleeping on his bed?" Violet asked again like she didn't hear her properly. She slowly nodded her head.Violet rubbed her palm over her forehead before sigh
"Now before blowing the candles, make a wish, Zia," Zia smiled at her mother hearing her words and nodded. She closed her eyes slowly and made her wish. After that she opened her lashes and the very first thing her gaze caught was those green orbs staring at her because its owner was standing in front of her. She gawked at him through the fire of those burning candles. "Now blow the candles…." Cia's voice made her shrug and then she blew the candles. Everyone started clapping and wishing her whereas she grinned at everyone except that one person. She did her best to avoid his entire presence as much as possible because his mere presence was making her remember what had just happened between them just a while ago and she didn't want to remember it, not even in her dreams again because that was a living nightmare for her. "Once again, happy birthday," Zale fed her the cake to which she smiled and returned the gesture. Zia fed the cake to her parents and grandpa and then extended it t
A knock on the door grabbed the ladies' attention who were present inside Zia's room. They turned their heads and saw Zale standing at the door. Cia passed him a smile before siding away because she knew he was there to see how beautiful his little princess was looking in that dress which they both had selected for their daughter's birthday party. Zale looked at his child and immediately his smile turned more wide by watching Zia. He walked towards her and Zia wrapped her arms around her dad. "This dress is so beautiful, dad. Thank you so much for this," Zia uttered, smiling. Zale took out her face and planted a gentle peck on her head. "It's looking beautiful because my Zia has worn it," Zia giggled hearing her father. "Well…you can also compliment the other ladies present inside this room too, boss," Violet said, who was also there along with Zia's best friend, Riley. Zale chuckled and complimented them and then fixed his eyes on the love of his life, his wife…his Cia…. Cia'
"Happy birthday, Zia….," She slowly unlatched her dark black lashes hearing her parents' voice. She adjusted her sleepy vision to the light of the morning and a big smile crept on her pouty rosy lips by watching those two favourite faces of her life. She got up from the bed and opened her arms wide for both of them. With a smile, Zale and Cia hugged their daughter and kissed both sides of her temple."Happy birthday, Zia. Many many returns of the day, my child…." Zale spoke, caressing her light brown hair. Her alluring light blue eyes gleamed up in happiness."Thank you so much, dad…." She again hugged her father. His smile widened as he caged her back. His daughter was his life and the ultimate source of his happiness."Did you already forget about your mamma, Dad's princess?" The father-daughter duo pulled back and chuckled by hearing Cia. Zia stepped closer to her mother and embraced her."How can I forget about this beautiful face of my mamma. It's my everything," Zia said and p
"Careful, Cia….. " Zale uttered while watching his 9 months old pregnant wife who was playing with that kid, Damien. They both were chasing behind a butterfly in the garden of his manor. She was taking her steps slowly while holding the hand of Damien. They both were giggling which made Zale chuckle too. That kid had grown really close to both of them, especially Cia in these past 9 months. Once in a week, he always came to visit Cia with his father or sometimes even with his both parents during his weekend days. The Karlson family had also developed a very close relationship with Cia and Zale because of their elder son growing fondling towards Cia, Zale and their coming baby. "Oh… . No… it flew away… " The kid, Damien whined, watching that butterfly fly away from the flower. Cia chuckled at his tiny pout."We were not supposed to catch it, Damien," she caressed the boy's head who was pouting in anger."Because if we would have caught it then it might have turned very sad because it
"Damien Karlson," the little boy replied. Both Cia and Zale smiled at him. That boy had beautiful honey tanned skin and jet black hair. His eyes had the lightest shade of green which were twinkling like stars every time he smiled through his pearly white teeth. "Beautiful name and how old are you?" Cia asked, stroking his soft cheeks. The boy beamed in Zale's arms and answered. "I am five," "You didn't get hurt somewhere, did you?" Zale asked the boy in concern because that kid fell with a slight force and it was evident in that thudding sound of his falling. "No. I am fine, sir, " the boy shrugged his head while looking at Zale. "I am a brave boy. I don't cry," Zale chuckled at that kid's answer. Indeed that little being seemed brave. He patted his head. He didn't get very well with kids but this kid appeared to be different and he liked it. "Damien…" that voice grabbed the couple's attention and they saw Mr Karlson approaching them. "What are you doing here, Damien? Your mo
Soft and gentle blow of air was grazing against her face, making her golden strands of hair bounce in happiness. A small smile was playing over her lips as her azure eyes were staring at the beautiful horizon through her window. She closed her lashes and inhaled the fresh breeze of the evening which jolted her heart in content. She was enjoying the alluring sunset when she felt those arms wrapping around her waist from behind."I love you…." That raspily husky voice whispered in her ear and pecked below her ear tenderly. Her heart tingled, hearing that voice and feeling that touch. She wrapped her arms over his and leaned against his warm chest."I love you more," Her answer brought a beam to his face. He pecked her temple and embraced her more firmly. "So how was your day at work, Mr Alcazar?" She asked him, staring at the sky which had worn an enchanting shade of orange and slightly yellow. "Well…I attended some meetings, signed some papers, scolded some of my employees and miss
"Erya…?" Zale uttered, bewildered, by watching her there but he felt relaxed too as he thought she had come there to rescue them. She had come there with his men so that they could help them in standing against Blake's men but his relaxation turned into confusion when he felt Cia tightening her hold around his palm.He tilted his head and found her glaring at Erya with her glossy eyes. His brows wiggled in untidiness until he heard those words coming out from her mouth."Stay away from him, Erya…don't you dare to hurt him," Zale's eyes widened, hearing Cia. He couldn't understand what was happening there. Why would Erya want to hurt him when she had stood by him always? She worked for him then what exactly was wrong there?Cia gritted her teeth at Erya who was silently peering at both of them until now and then her gaze trailed towards Blake's lifeless body which made her fist her palms."So you succeeded in killing him,"Erya finally opened her mouth. Zale tossed his head to look at
Zale got back his consciousness which made him slowly unlatch his lashes. He opened his eyes and his gaze met with nothing except darkness. He blinked and tried to move but that was where a sharp pain engulfed almost each and every part of his body, especially his head and arm. He growled in pain and attempted to clutch his head but a sound of iron chains rustling echoed in that darkness, making him aware that his arms were tied with them so that he couldn't move. Clenching his jaw, Zale started wiggling in those chains aggressively when suddenly a dim light shot open, penetrating that voracious darkness. "So my dear cousin is finally awake,"That voice made Zale snap his head upward and his bloodshot eyes filled with a rapacious deadliness by watching the owner of that voice who stepped inside through the door.A cunning smirk was playing on Blake's face as he approached Zale whose wrists and legs were chained and the iron chains were attached to the walls. "I was waiting for you
"Drop your gun, Blake Alcazar….," That rapaciously cavernous voice roared, making Blake grit his teeth. After he and Ashton attacked Zale's main warehouse together, he found out that it was a trap to catch him in it. Zale and his guards were already aware of his attack and they were already prepared about it and not only this, Ashton and his men were playing with him too as they were all involved in Zale's plan of trapping him and betrayed him flawlessly. Zale, Ashton and their men guarded Blake and his men completely as they were more in number. "The game is over now, my dear cousin," Zale's predatory gaze met with Blake's furious ones for the first time in half a decade. Both the men were standing in front of each other after almost 5 years. The last encounter they had with each other was at one of the hideouts of Blake's where Zale invaded his territory and killed each and every man of his there on spot because he got the information that Blake was planning on attacking him and
