It was already past 11:00 pm when Kevan came back home.

As expected, the living room was dark.

Kevan backtracked when he heard her voice. "I thought you had gone to sleep. I was going to sleep in the guest room."

"I'm still doing some work. Go and wash up in the bedroom. I will turn off the computer and come along later," Larissa said in a tired voice, rubbing her eyes. She was exhausted from staring at documents all night.
