Chapter 872

The force from Kevan's swing caused Edmund to sway back and forth.

His right leg seemed to be broken. It hung limply in contrast to his left leg which was straight.

"Kevan!"

He continued crying out with tears rolling down his cheeks. His tears left clean tracks on his blood-stained face.

Kevan frowned in disgust. "I have given you multiple chances."

His return to Caldor was the first chance he had given Edmund. The second was when he'd orchestrated Edmund's and Wendy's breakup.

If Edmund had been sensible enough to abandon his plans and face him like a man, Kevan wouldn't have resorted to this.

"Still, you did not appreciate my kindness." As Kevan said those words, he took another swing at Edmund's left leg.

Edmund screamed in pain and tears fell uncontrollably.

"Kevan, spare me! Please, it hurts so much! I'm going to die!"

"Don't worry, I won't let you die. I'll make you wish that you were dead instead," Kevan said with a sinister smile.
