Nina's slap was hefty, whereas Marilyn's skin was fair and delicate. After half an hour, the mark on her face hadn't faded. It seemed to become redder and more swollen.

Before lunch break ended, Larissa rejected her suggestion of covering it up with foundation. She dragged Marilyn to the infirmary without hesitation.

The doctor prescribed an anti-inflammatory ointment, but it couldn't be applied directly. Marilyn had to remove her makeup first.

Marilyn grabbed Larissa's hand desperately, almost begging on her knees. "I'll apply when I get home. I'll put on a thick layer. Would that work?"

Everyone has the desire to look beautiful. Although Larissa didn't care much for makeup, she could understand if others were reluctant to remove it.

"Alright, make sure you apply it properly tonight! Otherwise, the swelling might not go down."

"Okay!" Marilyn nodded.
