Gemma was alone in the room, the familiar room that had made her feel strange and tense for the past two years. She pondered Harvey's previous words, wondering if he had taken them back. Their relationship was no longer that of a husband and wife.

She was convinced that Harvey had forged all those marriage certificates to deceive her. But she forgot that Harvey had put in so much time, effort, and money to create everything as if they were truly husband and wife because he desperately wanted her.

If Harvey hadn't been meticulous from the beginning, Gemma would have realized it long before she regained her memory.
