Chapter 24 The Winner

"Ms. Lea, you are very late and have kept the jury waiting," said one of the judges, a woman with short black hair.

She was very impressed with Lea's appearance and her almost perfect features, compared to all the models who had passed the audition process. However, she wanted to say that she did not like Lea's punctual and undisciplined attitude.

"My apologies in advance, Mrs. Diane, I've had a little trouble commuting and as I mentioned before, I've only just returned to this city after five full years of living in America, so it seems I've kind of forgotten the roads I'm supposed to take to get there."

"Then you should have left earlier," said Mrs. Diane firmly.

"I'm sorry again, but as far as I know, according to the rules that apply during this event, each participant is given a time tolerance to follow the audition process for fifteen minutes from the first call to enter the audition room and because when I entered, the committee just counted to four, that means I'm not la
